A Perfect Description of how to wire-In a motion sensor to a 3-way system!! This is usually the most efficient application of a motion sensor, as I have found in our homes. Clear and to-the-point. Eliminate one side - Power in - Neutral attach - Line to Fixture. Ndrew, that was a simple single pole motion sensor. Thank you so much!!

How are you able to figure out which switch contains the hot wire and which contains the load wire?

so if the single pole switch is in the off position, then the motion sensor (and light) won't work/turn on?

I am confused as why you combined the 2 black wires together in the hallway but only used the main single black wire in the kitchen. I would have thought you would either just use the single black main wire from BOTH outlets or combine BOTH black wires in BOTH outlets. I don't understand how those traveler wires work, can someone explain the reason why both blacks are combined from the hallway only but not in the kitchen??

Is that a 3 way motion sensor ? Or just single pole

Ok you said it was a three way, now you’re saying it’s a single pole. This was extremely hard to follow. And my single pole has four wires, not 3. 😣

@@Randommemes741 It is a single pole switch. He shows you how to use this in a 3-way system. As follows, you need to I.D., In this example = Power in(Black) - Neutral attach(White) - Line to Fixture(Red). Good Luck!

You need to be better. At which way did describe the way you do this? You confuse me somewhere and the other guy i went to was even worse. There is not 1 person on u tube that can do this correctly so far. They know how To Do it but they don't know how to instruct.

Terrible instructions need to be more specific.
