    Nice !!!!. My GE Dishwasher drains fine in all but the last RINSE Cycle when it just does not drain even though I hear some sound..... Then when doing the reset, it sometimes drains some,, sometimes alll remaining and sometimes does not drain.. Wondering if it is still a pump issue ?

    Hey! Thanks for the video. Isn’t it mandatory to change the filter as well? And is it important to follow the temperature recommendations measuring the fluid temperature?

  • @akhaqan
    @akhaqan13 күн бұрын

    Thanks. No its not mandatory to change the filter, just drain and fill is enough. You have to drop the pan to replace filter which is much more involved process with several failure points. Filter change maybe required if your transmission has been abused a lot and have never done drain/fill and your transmission is over say 150,000 miles. In that case, it already is tricky to change fluid. So best bet is to drain/fill every 50,000 miles. Temperature measurement is very important as fluid level will vary when it's hot or cold. You can avoid this by replacing fluid when cold and accurately measuring how much was removed and adding equivalent amount back.

    @@akhaqan got it, thanks! Mine is 120K now and I don’t know if it has been ever changed. I don’t have any issues with a transmission though, so just want to make sure everything is well maintained. Would you recommend just to do drain and fill procedure?

  • @akhaqan
    @akhaqan12 күн бұрын

    @@nikolais9297 Yes, do it ASAP. Total transmission fluid is around 6 qt, drain & fill replaces just 2 quart, fyi.

    Mine was a malfunctioning pressure sensor (for ABS) on the brake pedal. Replacing the brake pedal was going to cost $650. While waiting on the part from Toyota, I wondered if after 375,000 miles it’s just stuck. I am always very light on the brakes, after all. So I violently pushed the pedal to the floor one time, fully depressing it. It must have broken something loose, because a few miles later the lights went off and they stayed off. Problem solved!

    Hi Amer. Nice video! Q: I run a one watt lightbulb 24/7 in my shed from a small battery and solar array. If I add the photosensor will Ithe light actually need more than 24w per day?

  • @akhaqan
    @akhaqan18 күн бұрын

    Thanks. Interesting question. Most off the shelf photocells need 110 or 220 volts to run, I believe I have seen some which can be installed in a series without a power supply for low volt circuits of less than 12v. Obviously these will not be 100% efficient so some power loss will be expected, maybe 0.5 watt or less. So you have to read the specs of the photocell to really know how much power will it require to operate but just guessing I think you can install in series and the savings in power of not operating during the day will offset any additional power required for the photocell.

    I am not sure, who recommended 10 K oil change, oil change 3-5 k, or once a year if don't drive that much (no more than 5k). Regardless, if you live in a very cold climate, especially in the winter, you have to warm up the engine before driving. Mine has almost 400k on it, zero issues with the engine.

    We bought a GE Profile Advantium Microwave for our new house because we liked the speed cook function on our old microwave... Little did we know that GE had been bought by a Communist Chinese owned company. What a piece of junk!!! Read my lips, GE. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GE PRODUCT! $732 for a replacement door? I'd rather do without. As a side note, my Amana Radar Range is still working and it's almost 50 years old.
