I can see what they were going for with the creepy dude. Have a mascot that's made of the Ice Cream to say that it's so good he eats himself, but why is it not just an animated character? It would have been a lot less horrifying if it were a snowman made of ice cream or something like that.

The creator of the commercial said he saw ice cream as a canvas, and can only be given a good commercial based on the deepest corners of the imagination. I'm glad he saw his product as a canvas and decided to take an artistic approach. I just wish he didn't have such an active imagination.

jp3813 I don't think so. He _did_ end the first one with a musical number where he rose out of his slump and truly became the Nostalgia Critic again. It would make more sense if he tried to retire the character _before_ the first Commercials episode.

that burger king ad is still with me to this day I had a ninja turtles VHS with that exact commercial on it.

I definitely recommend that you guys should react to the Nostalgia Critic review of "Dragon's Lair". Its just hilarious, and Don Bluth has an awesome guest appearance!

you know the batman one was odd because she never worked for them on the 60's show. she worked solo and occasionally teamed up with them. i think the ad was from the 70's and adam west didn't play batman in it.. so that's why he sounds different.

By the way, guess who narrates the Little Baby's Ice Cream commercials? Mattias Bossi. Same narrator for Binding of Isaac.

They looked highly disturbed by that last one with the ice cream...I don't blame them, I felt the same way when I saw the vid on NC's channel the first time..

#1 batman doesn't pay #2 if he did, robin should get paid more because he works more than her (because Robins in every episode, fighting crime, and Batgirl was introduced much later in the show and appeared occasionally. Why should batman pay a part-time worker as much as a full-time worker?) #3 doesn't getting paid for being a superhero kind of make the fact you're saving people worth less?

23:40 There's an argument to made here, given Stain's distaste of how heroes act nowadays. They act more like celebrities than real heroes, they're in it for the fame and money, rather than *actually wanting* to help people. Heroes SHOULD get paid for the good work they do, but they need not be Heroes if that is the *only* reason they're heroes to begin with.

Based on what I know about it, it seems like the creator was given complete creative freedom, and that inspired him to delve into the deepest corner of his imagination. Sometimes it's a great idea, sometimes it's a grave mistake. In this case, it was a grave mistake. But a memorable one.

TBH, I don't think I would've even remember it, except for that outfit. Even then, it's not nearly as memorable as someone wearing a SpongeBob tie to sell mattresses.

Both were impressive but sapped a shit-ton of battery life. The Lynx took 8 batteries and a later model took 6 along with the Game Gear and lasted roughly 2 hours. The Game Boy's battery life lasted between 10 to 30 hours. Not to mention the expansive library

Whenever I pause the bar obscures part of the video and that is not helpful if I want to catch some detail that caught my attention. Maybe the regular video player doesn't obscure the video when paused, but I'm using a plug-in to force YT to play videos using the old flash player because that allows me to select video qualities, also the HTML player lags way too much for me...
