Fun fact: At my local Walmart they have a TMNT collection of the 3 Live Action movies, the one CG movie..and THIS as part of a 5 movie set.

I went on Amazon and went old school and got the Fleischer Superman collection from when they showed the cartoons in theaters, I actually had some of those AND the Jetson's movie on VHS growing up so I went on a bit of a nostalgia trip..hell their better than a lot of the current animation on TV right now at the least when it comes to art styles. I got my eyes on a Flintstones collection if it goes down in price a bit.

They really needed a different animation studio for a Killing Joke movie. Maybe Studio Madhouse, like their animation on the Spawn animated series.

The joke at the end was the first time in a while I've found myself on the floor laughing; because IT'S THE GODDAMN TRUTH!!!

Interestingly enough, there are Fanfictions out there with content more expansive and some just as well written as their source material. For perspective, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, that's TRILOGY, has 576,000 words. One of my favourite fanfics has 1.3 million words written. Lord of the Rings was written between 1937 and 1949, while this one was wriitten in two years and even the author admitted to omitting ideas because it would have extended it further. That being said, Lord of the Rings is superior in that not only is it entirely an original concept, literally kickstarting a genre of fiction, but it had its own entire language. But regardless, some really good works have come out from fan fiction. 'The Air that I breath', where Rogue from the X-Men's powers grow out of control until she becomes a God as we follow the progress of mankind into interplanetary empires, 'A Wolf among Lions', what if Arya was discovered by Tywin in Harrenhall and taken as a ward of the Lannisters, showing the same aptitude that Tywin found so intriguing and she becomes his protege. And 'Code Geass Megiddo', a story that was started around the same time the series ended and is still going, written on the basis the author didn't like season 2 and introduced elements that influenced parts of the franchise (he writes this in his spare time when he's not writing his own novels that are sold in book stores). Heck, the legends of King Arthur, Dantes Inferno, Paradise Lost, all works that fans of the original or previous sources have added to or reinterpreted.

The scene where Batman was saying he wanted to work without the turtles and Raphael talked him back into teaming up is serviceable in its own right, but there’s a moment in the comic version that, if they added to the movie, would’ve made it undeniably better. Raph is being impatient while everyone’s working on a cure for the ooze and when they aren’t making progress, he snaps and basically calls Bats a rich playboy just pretending to be a hero, who knows nothing about loss and sacrifice. In response, Batman takes Raph and drives him directly to Crime Alley. He confides in Raphael, telling him about the losses that made him the Bat. Raph apologises, the two make up and they both start to accept and connect with each other. This moment would’ve made the scene in the movie have a lot more weight, because these two characters now have a bond that isn’t shared by anyone else in the Batcave.

True. But maybe they just didn't have the time to really give it the weight it deserved or they thought it would be a little too...heavy, perhaps? Since the movie still feels like a Batman movie...but definitely has a more lighter tone.

Just realized something. NC needs to look at Scooby Doo: Rock and Roll Mystery. It's another crossover that's better than it has any right to be.

With Robin's line of 'I've always wanted to push every button.' It makes me think that the Bat Firework was set up to only go off if EVERY button was pushed. Like Robin recognises that firework display and what it means for the BatMobile.

I always thought the death of jason Todd would've been a great way to start that animated killing joke movie. It would be good a way to show batman has finally had enough and wants to end this fight with joker

I find it ironic that Doug compared the fight between Batman and Shredder being followed by Batman vs Turtles to Thanos vs Hulk in Infinity War, when later in the film, there's a Iron Man, Dr. Strange, Spider-Man vs Starlord, Drax, and Mantis scene that's very similar to the one in this one.

As a straight man I find it a bit concerning how satisfying it sounds to me whenever I hear this Batman’s voice. Damn that voice is cool.

Batman and Batgirl's relationship in The Killing Joke movie is one of those things where it's better to tell and not show. I know they have been together in other realities, including the DCAU, but it's one of those times where we don't want to know what goes on in the private lives of famous people. That episode of Batman Beyond is a good example of keeping something ambiguous. When old Barbara told Terry about her past as Batgirl, and her and Bruce's relationship, all Terry had to say was "Whoa!" for us to understand how serious they were and leave it at that. That's something I wish they did in that movie. "Tell, not show".

A very cool crossover

Actually turning Shredder into an Alligator could have been a clever Homage to Leatherhead from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles if the nose & mouth stuck out like an actual gator. Then it would have been more closely linked to that than it ever would have been to Killer Croc as Croc had a more human shape to his face, unless you count The Batman, & even then they could have made it skinnier it up to keep from making that comparison either

15:45 - I was more shocked that he was surprised here. Batman has seen lizard people, talking gorillas, a pit of goo that pretty much makes you immortal, old and new gods, numerous people with superpowers, and a 30 inch tall woman who wanted revenge on the world. Seeing the Ninja Turtles is like a day at the office for this guy.

Does TFS count as fanfic? Because if they do Hellsing ultimate abridged should be known as the best fanficion ever

Imagine if the villain-transformations were completely off from their personas. Mr. Freeze as a desert-iguana, Poison Ivy as a cow, Bane as a panda, Scarecrow as a dove, the Joker as a hippo...

Perhaps someday we'll get an N.C episode where the rule isn't "make fun of every problem in the movie industry"... Sadly, that wasn't this review.

The Verge didn't lose creditability because of the PC build, they lost creditability because of how they handled the criticism. If they would've owned up to their mistake and apologized then I would've forgiven them. But instead they called the criticism harassment and filed false DMCA against ReviewTechUSA and Bitwit 5 months later.

Don’t forget the Ninja Turtles also exist in the Power Rangers universe. Sure the crossover episode with the...Next Mutation Turtles is the most well known, but there’s actually a fantastic comic series from last year that crossed then over with the original MMPR, and the Turtles got to morph, which was pretty cool. Also, Green Ranger Shredder was badass.

Elmer Fudd and Batman is actually pretty good. In case you don't know the Looney Tunes/DC crossovers are actually two stories. A long one and a short one. The first one has a DC hero fighting a "DC Version" of a looney Tunes character such as Martian Manhunter fighting a Marvin the Martian who is a powerful Martian warrior trying to destroy the Earth or Wonder Woman fighting a giant Mythical Greek monster version of the Tazmanian Devil. The other story is basically the DC character is showing up in a Looney Tunes such as Lobo trying and failing to kill the Roadrunner or Marvin the Martian trying to destroy the Earth but Martian Manhunter thwarting him everytime, this time more easily. The Elmer Fudd one..(Spoilers)...have gotham gangster version of Looney Tunes characters and Elmer Fudd, who does Noir narration but with his lisp so you get...Pway fo Me...Or... Be Afwaid...is tricked by Ganster Bugs Bunny into thinking his girlfriend ran off with Bruce Wayne and Elmer Fudd goes to try and kill him.

LOL I feel like the only person not bothered by BrucexBarbara. I'm not a fan of the pairing, just used to it because I watched Batman Beyond as a kid and its established there that they were a couple in the past (its also mentioned in Mystery of the Batwoman). But hey, its worse in the Batman Beyond comics, Bruce actually got Barbara pregnant, he confesses that to Grayson which is what causes their estrangement and Grayson beats the crap out of him, meanwhile Barbara fights some muggers and miscarries.

I feel like a much better animal for Joker to turn into would've been a baboon. Because it's not that teeth factor, and because it looks terrifying even without the Joker look.

If the movie had Nightwing, Red Robin (Tim Drake) , or Red Hood instead of just three Bat-Family members then I think it would've been just a tiny bit cooler but I love the movie anyways.

Seriously, when I first heard of this movie when it was announced, I was understandably skeptical. But I didn't know much I NEEDED a Batman vs Shredder Battle until I saw it and realized how brilliant it truly is. I've lost count how many times I've rewatched this movie. It's just so much fun and you don't get bored at all throughout. Fun fact the Turtles have even crossed over with Power Rangers. Granted, it was those SERIOUSLY flawed Next Mutation Turtles and they didn't care to give the brothers a different voice than each other, but it is kinda so bad it's good. Also, the Turtles are literally never mentioned again throughout all of In Space after that 2 part crossover, even as the world is being conquered.

I've got an animal for the Joker: a mandrill! I mean, mandrills are in the simian family, right? And people connect simians with being energetic and silly. And mandrills are considered scary by a lot of people, so why not pick that for the guy that fits both those criterias? That's why they made Harley Quinn a hyena, right?

i don't know with people, it's fine, cool and average for people eating folding pizza yet people bitch about David Harbour's Hellboy eating folding pizza (btw, 2019 hellboy film still sucks). WTF?!
