Here is a restored French Renault UE being driven (quite hard). This was recorded during an event commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Noyon, France.

What was the visibility like from the closed armoured cupolas? Can't see a slit in the front

Terrible, truly terrible. I guess it was deemed better to be blind than shot in the eye though I reckon it was marginal.

Between the cupolas have a little space that the pilots use to see when in battle, they just open the coupolas when dont have enemys to see where they are

Imagine being caught in a war with this thing, you got hit in the head, those metal bubble protects you, but suddenly you feel the heat of engine burning around you, you make attempts to get out but the bubble got stuck because of the bullet marks and you're trapped inside just waiting to be killed like a sitting duck or burned by the engine.

Tanks & more ah. Makes sense. Did it have any kind of weaponry? A machine gun of some kind for defense?

Normally no, but some of them were equipped with machine gun (field modification maybe or export version)
