Nirvana is one of my fav bands. When I found this from ren I about died 😂 when he hits that "HEY! WAIT!" it gives me chills every time. I would die to see him do more nirvana covers, he does this so well 😊💜💜 (plus bonus for shirtless ren😂)

Actually it was on 9 July 2022. @Active4KMusic got the date wrong in the video title. The previous week he released "Losing It", and about 3 weeks later he released "Violet's Tale".

FYI, @6.11 on the video, the camera pans to two guys sitting down at the front - Viktus is on the right sitting down (who featured on Down On The Beat) and Joseph Flack on his left (who is a street photographer and will have taken many of the photos of Ren you will have seen on the net).

The guy on the left is Joseph Flack. The guy beside him is Jake. Viktus is thinner with tattoos on his neck and arms. The young woman beside them is Jess. She was in the video for Xbox Marijuana.

So effortless, what a true talent! A great choice as so often overlooked, raw but perfect. Thanks for a lovely reaction.

Ren is back in Canada until April Phone Him and make a Date for an Interview. I know He would meet with You when He has the Time. Those People in Brighton have Heard Ren on the Streets Up to 10 hrs a Day. They are all Familiar with Ren and I've seen Posts with Ren singing to a Dog twice, once down by the Beach. REB-actions Posted a Video the Other day showing Big Pushes Last Day on the Street and at an Arena. It made Me Cry Pray for the Return of Big Push Red. Lovs from Canada , EH!

Wow neighbour, you only started this in July. Your a natural. Boy, I've been following a while now, thats my honest opinion. I have a complicated relationship with Nirvana, when they were at their height. I was a Manchester, UK Hacienda/Indie clubber, and went to see lots of live music. Happy Mondays, Stone Roses etc, lots of dance/hip hop. Nirvana was played a lot, I felt the vibes a little less than they probably deserved, because it was just such an explosion of music and all sorts of thing happening, and from our local kids. Being young and optimistic. I appreciated them though, it has endured. And I know a lot of peers did appreciate. Hearing the less hyped side away from that, love the cover of Leadbellly, In the Pines & Something in the Way, just gives me the goosebumps. Ren certainly, has a primal scream like Kurt. ❤ ❤

Ren is the antidote to auto tune and pitch correction.

Ren delivers once again. I always had a sort of irrational dislike of Nirvana even though I liked some of their songs. Simply because I was into 80's metal and then along came grunge at the start of the 90's and killed it. lol.

I'm at a disadvantage here: in the same way as I drove my dad crazy listening to Hawkwind, etc., my son drove me crazy listening to Nirvana. So, while my son grew up listening to and liking Neil Young, Jethro Tull, Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd, etc., I never really listened to them, default having become dislike. I think I was the one who lost out.
