I’m committed to listening, spend 6 hours a day with post on KZread. I think I’m addictive to the distinctive compassionate personality it shows , he puts passion for the spotlight. Possibly we people in society hears cussing it’s a turn off. I don’t mind because I can see his true colors and look at his behavior towards his career and how he’s compassionate towards others. It’s just biased.

on some notes, Post has a similar tone as Kurt's voice, but he does not have the same strength or quality of Kurt's voice. He cannot even make it through half the song without singing out of tune or losing his breath. Singing and screaming are not the same dude! Good attempt, but no cigar...

I never heard of this guy, because my music tastes are stuck firmly in the 70s- early 00s rock, but it was in the recommended videos while I was listening to Nirvana tonight. I'm glad I found it.

I'd pay big money to watch these guys cover Nirvana live.

Two years ago my kids asked me why I liked Post Malone.. I told them he is a grunge rocker larping as a rapper... See how right I was👆

Disagreed! Now that there are no shows for people to attend is the BEST time for artists to experiment with other music styles! Gone are the days of cd sales when albums would go platinum anyway as it's all about streaming nowadays, but at least he wouldn't have to worry about following up a potential album flop with a full tour to support it.

For him to be able to do two music Genres and make it sound good is some serious talent. If you haven't heard "Take What You Want From Me" it's got some raps verses in it but Ozzy Osbourne is in the song and i found the sound to be pretty decent. Alright ✌🏼

I hate the modern generation of rappers. Anything post the 90s generation (Em,Tupac,Biggie etc) I won’t listen to because I don’t like mumble rapping but this was a good cover. He’s wasted on shitty rapping he should stick to grunge

Same, since I'm 41 and basically turned into my dad when it comes to newer music, lol. He gained a new fan here. Since I'm working from home now, and have nobody around, thinking I'll be listening to some Post Malone tomorrow while working. Just seems to be oozing with talent and also seems to be a solid human. I loved this.

He absolutely nailed it. And this is coming from a 44 year old music snob, whose teenage years were shaped by Nirvana. His music usually leaves me kinda meh, but this here is all that grunge is about. Happy sigh.

@Matt Carelli I respect your opinion but I disagree. I think AIC sounds so very much like it use to. That's why I love Will. He tries to not inject his own vocal characteristics and instead stays true to the Layne/Jerry delivery of vocals. His playing is perfect. He definately grooves with the band not against it. I think he fits perfectly with the boys. He and Jerry sound SO GOOD together. They all sound great playing together. Their new songs sound like AIC songs. Like they're supposed to. Maybe later on in the future well hear more of William's diversity of vocal style or playing. But as of now, I'm extremely satisfied with the group and the direction they've gone. I truly believe that Layne would be honored by the band staying so musically true. And I really think he would like William, alot. Just sayin'.

Post should do grunge honestly his voice has that vibrato and rasp, not like a pop singer at all.

The whole concert is absolutely amazing. Next best thing to seeing Nirvana live (and sometimes, much better). Honest.

No, he was an emo kid when he was growing up. He was in a few emo "like" bands when younger. Please don't confuse emo with grunge. They are completely different.

Jesus look at how much you can tell he loves doing this type of music, he’s so much like john mayer in the sense that his talents expand to much more challenging genres of music especially in posty’s case where you take into account the fact he’s playing guitar which hardly anyone knows he can play (obviously john mayer plays guitar too)

Never really listened to him before just watched a few cover songs and this one gave me chills !! It’s outstanding how much he sounds like Kurt!! Only person I’ve heard to even come close to sounding like him. Post can most definitely adapt to any type of music and nail it every time!!! It’s a rare talent to have !! Let’s hope he has many many yrs to come to perform music.

Sometimes physically moving your body your arms your head can make a HUGE difference in your signing. Something about doing the movement helps get the right sound out

I’m a middle aged woman in her 50’s. I love everything Post touches. I just hope he stays with us and doesn’t go out like every badass before him. Take care of yourself Post and show us what you got. I love it all but you have so much more to show us. Keep your dream alive and yourself.
