I think he always has a message. To me this is his mission statement. All these seeds he plants- hardwork, influences ( peppered in his lyrics) and life experiences grow into trees from which he is teaching over beats. Notice the jacket says NEW WAVE.

He has an homage to Beastie boys called What you want YW! LOL

Ren’s Hip Hop/Rap style songs are all worth checking out for those who enjoy this genre. “Genesis,” “What You Want,” “Losing it (FISHER rap retake),” “Right here, right now (Fatboy Slim one shot retake),” "Life is Funny," “Love Music (Parts 1, 2, and 3),” “Crucify Your Culture,” “Power,” and his latest release, “Bittersweet symphony (The Verve retake)” are all equally amazing, but stylistically different from each other.

Well, hello from Oshkosh, fellow 'Sconnie! I found Ren about 10 days ago from "Hi Ren" and have been mainlining everything from him since. I cannot get enough. I've seen/listened to this one about 30 times and it still blows me away. You know what? Everything I've heard from Ren and the Big Push blows me away. What a fantastic rabbit hole to fall down, my dude. "Chalk Outlines", "How to be Me", "Diazepam", "Sick Boi", "Money Game, pt 1 and 2", "Humble", "Bittersweet Symphony", "The Tale of Jenny and Screech (Full)" (it's a trilogy), the Big Push's busking covers of "War Pigs", "I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hip Hop"... this guy, these guys don't miss. It's amazing and I'm here for it.

Ren posts his lyric and you will want them for this the captions can’t keep up lol! Losing it Fisher retake is great fun, Genesis,bittersweet symphony, What you want is a nod to the Beastie boys.Sick Boi, so many gret tracks. Ren does stuff with other artists and his Band The big push is amazing.

I really liked your reaction. I like the pauses and the reviews of specific flows, etc. Django Reinhardt was a swing (gypsy-jazz) guitar player in the first half of the 20th Century. Ren references many musicians in his music like Leonard Cohen nearer the end of the song.

You're in the minority...I think most people that come here have heard the song dozens of time and don't like the constant pausing. He can't experience the song the way it was meant to be experienced...nor his viewers.

This reaction was (at least) on par with Knox Hill, and you two found different things. Worth leaving Steyning to, as well ad Sean Staxx's reaction. The crazy thing is that so many reactors miss the message, even if they give credit to the skill. You've got a guy who was delayed for 10 years because of illness, and this is what he can do. Of course he is hungry! Slight warning, you NEVER know what to expect with a Ren track. He is a chameleon and great at it all. He bleeds music. Subbed. Cannot wait to see what you discover next. Please don't repeat every line, rhyme or bar. We know what he is saying. In future pull up the lyrics, some of his rap is machine gun rapping, hard to keep up with him. Also as mentioned, your voice is too low or mike too low.
