How exactly are you preventing lead paint from contaminating the ground.

Will sandblasting get rid of efflorescence?
@Mobileblaster
Жыл бұрын
Yes and no simple answer is yes it will remove it but if the problem remains as to why it came in the 1st place it will come back ie salts in the brick weep out due to water ingress so you would need to fix this before any attempts made to remove the final white cream ish stuff 👍

I viewed a Victorian house and the whole side of the house and flat roof two storey extension has paint on it... Not sure what kind. I imagine this would cost a fortune to remove, if it could be removed at all?

Mick, i have decades of paint on what i think could be decent brickwork in my cellar. I was planning to use soda balating to get it off. What should my expectations be of the dust level produced?
@Mobileblaster
Жыл бұрын
Soda won't help well it would do it but cost you an absolute arm and a leg when an alternative like a fine or super fine glass would be the better option. Depending on the cfm you plan on using will tell you the dust level and how fast you want to do the job 👍

Maybe because it looks like the water is doing the work but the water is only added to suppress the dust. Possibly be able to remove this with chemicals and steam but I find that chemicals and steam only work on select jobs were as blasting will remove 99.9% so I have no issues really on completing a job 👌
