Hi Mick & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Mick & Friends Randy
This shouldve been hot-pressure washed first. And only blast the few spots of rust afterwards. Created so much more uneccesary work for themselves.
The Inside you Have to be Careful those Units are Expensive Gods speed and best of luck .
Awesome video thanks Mick very much appreciated top job money well earned 💰💰💰🇬🇧🚜🚛🚜🚛🚜🚛🍺🍺🍺
Have you considered dry ice blasting. Lots of less residue to collect
It won't do this well it would but its like trying to use wet and dry sandpaper when you need 40 grit
Hello from maine, usa... always interesting....
👋 always nice to hear from folk here is me doing my thing in my little town and people from around the world can see it 😊 blows my mind 🙂
Them truck chassis keep you on your toes mate with all them obstacles 👌👍. Nice job mate 👍.
@scottkenzig5144 it takes a lot of concentration to keep control (keeping wires and pipes in order 😊)but they are fairly easy after a few of em 😊
@Mobileblaster thats it mate 👍 practice makes perfect 👌 and you have had plenty of that legend 👍
@scottkenzig5144 racking them hours up mate 😂
Looks great mick, that Volvo Grey is good paint 🤣🤣
Plastic/powder coat is a paint to shift a dropped on with this 1 as it wasn't putting up the usual fight 😆
I would have thought they would have gave it a good presure washing first to clean up the the bits you are leaving
@helicopter269 body shop knows how to deal with them areas alot of this gets covered with catwalks and bling after its had some colour on it 😊
They wasted a lot of money sandblasting a frame that just had a few spots of rust.
you are an artist man 😎
@@jingtao4094 😂👌👍
Wish it were that easy on our house. We have damp issues but it's painted pebble dash and that is failing allowing water to get behind it. Two doors up took ALL the pebble dash off down to the horrible bricks they used for these 1930's detached houses then sealed the bricks, rendered then re pebble dashed. Looks so much nicer than painted. Must have cost a fortune. Not gonna ask cos he's a twat and refused to speak to us when he moved in 😂
😂 sounds like alot of work ahead of you 😬
Looks like a blast !!!!
😂👌👍
Wow, that looks amazing 👍🏻
😊👌👍
Why don’t you start cleaning from the top?
I do blasting don't make a difference as I've to wash that off at the end 👍
I worked for a mining company that had me doing this, it was honestly the most fun job I've had, I just didn't like the blood I'd find in my Kleenex after work or the rust where my feet were in the shower lmao could have done without that. They also had the pressure set too high and nobody really bothered to show me how to lower it so basically if I hovered over something too long it would start eating through it. The guy who did the job before me did 2 notable things, he jammed a rubber wedge under the trigger switch to lock it on and then dropped the hose by mistake and it just sorta flailed around shooting grit all over the place, the painter just watched him struggle for about 10 minutes before he hit the kill switch. He had a good laugh he said. Other notable moment was he did the wedge trick again but set the hose down on the table between a grate, he blasted a big ass hole through some very thick steel, it was honestly impressive to look at
😂 I've played around with mine before but always tried to make sure that others around me are safe. Yeah, I do some sketchy stuff, but not to the point I feel unsafe
Omg you showed the rinse down! That was glorious. I subscribed because of that rinse. I hope you always show that! Thanks for the work of putting the videos together. Fantastic work!
😊👌👍
No gloves wow your really talented 😂...
I'm not trying to impress anyone or pretend I'm doing things right I'm simply filming real-world work that I do (don't forget youtube was built for home videos, not the super edited high production crap you can see on the TV) although I've been on the TV with my work just not my editing 😂👌👍
So sick
👌👍
Water instead of sand for blasting? Not seen that before although the only potential issue is if the house is not water tight, especially old victorian terraced houses. How can you be sure water wont be getting into the property ? Just interested.
The water is only added for dust suppression it's still sandblasting as for your query the presure used is a snip over hose presure nothing near a power washer for example I was at 60psi with media and water a hose runs around 11/15psi a power washer is 2500/4500psi on average if a property cannot keep water out at this psi then the owner needs to start and look at why as rain will eventually course more problems than this 👌👍
Чтото слабенько дует
🤔
Curious to know what happens with the neighbours property’s, if I came home to see paint chipped off and a jagged paint line up my side of the property line I would not be happy! I know in this circumstance it’s not as much of a problem as both sides have rough old paint anyway but what if they didn’t?
I also bet you get a lot more work this way too though, looks great! I’d imagine the owners of the other homes have never seen what’s underneath and would want the same done once they see
Normally it is fairly accurate I cannot do much if the paint flakes off but it was explained to the customer and the neighbours turns out she had very good neighbours and everyone was OK with everything 🙂 I got this job because another blaster did a job on this road and they didn't get that guys number glad they found me 😂👌👍
What determines if your media is going to be wet or dry?
@@USIU-3USIU me 😊
I am trying to understand this. What conditions, either process or end result helps you to determine if you are going to use a wet or dry media. You have used both in your videos.
It's whatever is most suitable for the task at hand 👍
Well done. I bought myself one of these mortar rakes and comes with shroud which are available from Sunrise. So instead of using a disc you're using a milling bit. It basically turns your angle grinder into a something like a milling machine. I found this tool was really good for doing the perps.
😊👌👍
hi great vid :) what model is this blaster?
Pressure pot 👍
Looks like a newly built house.
😊👌👍
When you did your truck did you think of getting a decomed fire truck
No, my goal was to have a maximum payload under the 7.5ton fresh hold so I could drive freely with no restrictions on areas I'm allowed to go with it 😊
Looks like they tried painting over the dirt at some point when it really just needed a cleaning. Cheers for bringing it back to its original appearance!
@@alextirrellRI 😊👌👍
It would be nice to see some of the things that you have blasted after they have been painted
@@georgedunham6833 it would be I'm not around for the coating side of things I only do the blasting 👍
I have a couple of questions: - why did we watch u at the gas station? - who cleans after you? Sand blasting leaves a huge mess behind - i still see some areas with different/lighter shades. Those areas were not blasted ok?
@YamanYamaner 1 your a fully grown man you don't have to watch me doing anything 2 Ryan cleans up.....its not so messy done right 3 my job is to remove the paint rust and crap leaving the surface ready for repaint those areas you talk about I would be wasting my time and money to do something that's not needed 👍
Just a question? Why didn’t you work top down on this job ?
@AstonVilla1969 it's so I don't have to blast through the slurry at the bottom at the end. It don't make much difference to be honest as it still needs pressure washing top down at the end 👍
Love watching these, can't stand that awful background muzak. Much prefer to hear YOUR work.....
😊👌👍
always good work. nice to watch
😊👌👍
How well does that process work on brick?
Very good please see my brick and stone cleaning playlist 😊👌👍
That isn’t years…..
How long is it then? If it wasn't years I don't fink all them layers of paint would have had time to dry 😂
what about the bottom?
It wasn't on the jobsheet 👍
Just out of curiosity, why didn’t you start at the top and work your way down?
It don't really make a difference top or bottom as it still needs washing doing after I perfer to start at the bottom so I don't have to blast through the slurry near the end
how nice
😊👌👍
Looks good.
😊👌👍
I wonder how a laser would cope..
It wouldn't 😆
Thief’s
Only a criminal would think that way... and only a fool would post it for the world to see. This is the UKs biggest plant dealer in new and used equipment do you really think they would get involved in such activities
Nice job, what media did you use.
@@scottstacey1408 crushed glass 👍
Sand blasting god, right! And only 18 min. to get the job done!
😂
Imagine using chemical paint stripper to remove all that paint and crap...what a mess.
😊👌👍
Could anyone tell me how much the blasting costs?
For Business Enquiries Please Email [email protected] Regards Mick
Blasting off that two pack looked like unnecessary cash generation.
I can let you in on a little secret it works out way cheaper faster and nicer finish than any other method for serface preparation 👌👍
You sir...have one of the most satisfying jobs! Watching the rust and paint come off is soooooooo satisfying!
😊👌👍
I’m astonished how nicely that hull came up. Beautiful blasting job, the owner must be thrilled. No nasty rust patches, scabbing or pitting. Seems to have a better paint coat than the stuff they slap on narrowboats.
😊👌👍
The sacrificial anodes seem to have been doing their job alongside the hull coating, I was impressed as well.
Great job. How much sand did you have to use to do that job?
Sorry I wasn't counting
Kabzalı olsa daha kolay olmazmı
Not really as you need to move it into lots of different areas
I had my Catalina 25 Soda Blasted, it is less abrasive and Bio-Degradeable.
Soda wouldn't do this work that's like trying to sand with wet and dry when you need 40 grit sand paper 👍
