Removing My Jeep Wrangler Engine for The LS Swap!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

LS Swap Parts List: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
LS Swap Playlist: • Jeep Wrangler LS Swap
With the 5.3 LS Engine wrapped up, its time to pull the engine out of my 2006 Jeep Wrangler LJ!!
The inline 6 4.0 lived a good life, and its a great engine... However, the added power of the LS is going to be amazing. Going from around 190 Horsepower, up to around 360 Horsepower is going to move this Jeep with ease!
For those of you who are new to the channel, i am doing a budget 5.3 LS swap into my Jeep Wrangler. So far, the project has gone very smooth. But now its time to get to the nitty gritty!
In this video, we remove the 4.0 engine from my wrangler, remove all the unneeded stuff for the swap, and talk about what all we need to keep from our wiring harness.
A big fear for people in regards to this swap is the wiring... How do we wire the LS engine to work well with the Jeep components. Luckily I have Ben here to explain what all will need to be done with the LS swap wiring. We will make a video going further in depth in regards to wiring in this TJ LS swap.
Thanks for watching! Make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications so you never miss a video!
More Jeep Upgrades and Modifications coming soon, as well as some awesome Dodge Charger Scat Pack content soon!

Once, when replacing the transmission on my LJ, we had fully drained the fluid and my buddy didn't notice the pan right behind his head when he laid down under the Jeep. Let's just say ATF-4 makes an interesting shampoo/conditioner LOL.

I asked my wife to pump the brakes on a classic car I have....not for a bleed, just to check something. Pumped them like 3 times. You would have thought I told we were moving and she had to do all the packing. My wife has never put gas in a car. She let's me know when she needs gas and I use her car that day. I hope I don't predecease her.
