Remember Silva vs. Weidman
Спорт
At UFC 162 in 2013, defending UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva was upset by Chris Weidman. At the time, Silva and the UFC were looking at potential superfights against Jon Jones at Georges St-Pierre if he were to win. But Weidman won with a stunning knockout, stopping all the momentum that those two Silva superfights were gaining. #andersonsilva #chrisweidman #shorts #ufc

@@philippecote3179 lol man….Silva was undefeated in the UFC up until that moment. Silva wasn’t even winning the fight it was pretty much evenly matched. The fact Georges called it just shows how well Georges knew a lot of fighters capabilities were and what their weaknesses were. He came back to defend the belt again against Silva….That was the start of Silvas demise after those 2 fights. What’s even crazier is that this was in 2013 and Georges was already retired at 33 by then and he still holds how many UFC records lol. Only coming back for one fight in 2017 to move up a division and win another belt, but that would be his final fight. Love seeing the 🐐 call this spot on
