Hello Friends!
I hope you're doing well today. Today is laundry and gardening day at my English cottage. Join me in this relaxing cinematic calming video as I take on some soothing gardening tasks around my cottage garden. I am slowly transforming my space without putting too much pressure on myself. We'll make lavender syrup for our coffee, which we will enjoy with freshly baked pain au chocolat at the end of the day. There's no hurry. While waiting for the washing machine to finish its cycle, we'll take a stroll to my local Abbey, where we will feed swans and wild geese. Let's embrace slow living and let the worries fade away for a little while. Let's slow down together and cherish these simple moments, observing nature and listening to the soothing sounds of everyday life ASMR and birds chirping.
I find comfort and peace in observing the little critters that live in my cottage garden. They mind their own business, adapting to whatever life throws at them. This helps me cultivate calmness in my life.
In addition to embracing slow living, I am passionate about a vintage lifestyle. From vintage decor to timeless recipes, I love incorporating elements from the past into my daily routine. It adds a nostalgic charm and simplicity that enhances my connection to nature and the art of slow living. My healing garden provides a sanctuary for relaxation, making every cozy spring day feel magical.
I’m also getting the garden ready for an afternoon tea party that will happen later in May, which adds an extra touch of excitement to my gardening tasks.

•~❉᯽❉~• Lavender Syrup •~❉᯽❉~•
Make sure you’re not allergic to lavender if you’re trying it for the first time.
Ingredients:
1 cup of water
1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of dried culinary lavender flowers
- In a saucepan, combine the ingredients over medium heat. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for about 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool completely. Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer to remove the lavender flowers. Transfer the syrup to a clean bottle or jar for storage. Store the lavender syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Enjoy your homemade lavender syrup in coffee, tea, cocktails, or drizzle over desserts for a floral and aromatic flavor!

Lavender syrup, interesting. I may have to try my coffee that way. I usually put a few lavender buds in the coffee grounds just before brewing. It's rather tasty. Especially since I roast my own coffee and grow my own lavender, it's very fresh and satisfying. Thanks for the syrup idea, That sounds very delicious.

@@sue-67y I roast coffee beans in a cast iron pot with a lid over open flames from my grill. It requires a lot of stirring and paying attention to the sounds and aroma and the color of smoke to get the roast level you desire. I love doing it this way rather than on a modern roasting machine because you get a better range of tastes from each roast and its more of an artful process... My customers love it as well.

Hi again, I’ve been thinking about this jug and tried to track it down for you. I had a feeling I got it from a small shop on Etsy called KinaCeramics. They don’t have it in their shop anymore but they have other wonderful products-I highly recommended to check them out! They are absolutely amazing and very creative! They might be able to do it for you as a custom order, maybe? I hope this helps?💕✨

Hi, I have recently found that that you may be able to turn on the subtitles by yourself if you go to the option wheel, on the right side corner of the video and select [CC]. There you can choose Auto translate option. You should be able to pick your language from there. Please let me know if this helped ☺
