•❉᯽Nettle Tea ᯽❉•
Boil water and add your nettle to the pot, or pour boiling water over it. Let it steep for 5-10 minutes. The most nutritious leaves are the top ones, the first two rows. We shouldn't drink more than 2 cups per day. Add honey if desired.
Nettle tea is not only delicious but also boasts numerous health benefits, including potential support for digestion, immune function, and hair health. However, it's important to remember that we are all unique, and what works for one person may not work for another. Please consult with your doctor before trying a new herbal tea or food, especially if you have any allergies, underlying health conditions or concerns.
•❉᯽ Lavender Woodland Cookies ᯽❉•
This recipe is very simple.
Ingredients:
90g flour
40g melted butter
5-6g honey or brown sugar
1 tea spoon of dried edible lavender flowers
1 egg
Fresh fruits (berries work great, and you can add dried fruits if desired)
- Strawberry yogurt and edible flowers to decorate once the cookies have cooled down.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and egg. Mix well. Add the cooled down melted butter, honey or brown sugar, lavender flowers. Mix until everything is well combined. Add fruits.
- Shape the Cookies: Using a tablespoon as a measurement, scoop out portions of the cookie dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet. You can shape them into rounds or get creative, especially for special occasions like heart shapes for Valentine's Day.
- Bake at 175 degrees Celsius (oven fan) in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the cookies turn golden brown. Keep an eye on them to avoid over-baking.

Such beautiful content. I just found your channel and subscribed. I want to create an indoor herb garden, I noticed you didn’t add soil nor did the pots have any drainage. How do you keep the herbs from dying and/or root rot? I appreciate your guidance.

Regarding your question about soil and drainage, I sometimes add gravel to the bottom of the bowls (like in my "How to Transform Your Console Table for Spring with a Stunning DIY Indoor Garden in a Bowl!" video), but with herbs, I've noticed that it isn't always necessary. Somehow, they thrive without it. I've tested it a few times, and it works every time. Although I'm not an authority in this department, I try to follow my intuition with plants. I water them when I see the soil getting a little dry, then I give them enough to always have soil a little damp, without overdoing it. I hope this helps! Thank you for your question! When growing plants in bowls with no drainage, it’s crucial to take a few extra steps to ensure their health. I’m very careful with watering, making sure not to overwater and checking the soil's moisture regularly. This way, the plants get just the right amount of water without getting waterlogged. Absolutely! I did add a bit of soil with the flowers. I wanted them to be tightly packed for now, but I plan to replant them in the garden soon. I'll keep only a few pots in the kitchen.
