Floor herself said it during the live premier, the lyrics don't only fit for a breakup, but just anything you have a hard time leaving lol like alcohol and junk food
She's unbelievably breathtaking, in any aspect. Beyond words.
Always nice to keep in mind that she's writing rhyming lyrics in a second language.
This has a sort of 90s R&B/pop vibe and I'm really digging that. I wouldn't have thought this sort of song would suit Floor's voice, but i'm pleasantly surprised.
Floor Jansen is unbelievable. What an incredible talent. I loved this song upon hearing it before the video was released. And no, Floor and Hannes are not getting a divorce so relax if you were thinking this is about now for Floor. But she puts so much emotion into her voice that it feels like it is about her and about now. Wow!

If you take out the meaning of the lyrics this song is beautiful, if you add in the simplicity of the lyrics then it's epic!
Kamelot - Under Gray Skies. If you're doing ballads only, I wholeheartedly recommend this one.
Another powerful song dealing with a basically one-sided relationship ending/going up in flames is "Far from Heaven" by Battle Beast, it has some very dark and emotional lyrics.

Nope, this one was written by Gordon Groothedde, whom she writes her solo songs with. She altered it a bit, to her taste. Ans also so it can be about regular friends.
