Floor’s performances on Beste Zangers are all fantastic and, taken together, they showcase her versatility. She does everything from German opera, to musical theater, to a pop cover to something with a country music vibe. She puts her own vocal stamp on everything she does.

I was in Hertme when she sang this song live for the first time in front of an audience (even before the actual release), that night in that open air stage was almost magical ... and to see Floor live (with me about 4 m away from her mic stand) .... this woman has a voice and a stage presence ... unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable. You think all these videos prepare you for this ... No, they don't! Fun fact: Hannes, the mighty Drummer of Sabaton made this video in their home studio in sweden.

Floor's new and upcoming solo record (2023) is a much softer side of her personality. She has been doing metal for over 20 years and wanted to branch out in a different style. Her pervious releases "Fire" & Storm" are also amazing and will be included in her solo record. In my opinion, we have two people who have the "golden touch" ((King Midas touch") in music, one is Tuomas Holopainen and the other is Floor Jansen. Whatever they do, it always sounds good. And when they're both in Nightwish... 😊

I love this song and all the other solo songs she did so far. My favorite right now is Invincible, that had me in tears the first time. Also I'm so excited to see her, for the first time, next month, I bet it will be very emotional.

Nightwish is like a music university when you start exploring side projects. Others have already said Floors solo project and previous bands. Tuomas' solo project is a masterpiece - it's basically soundtrack to Don Rosa's famous graphic novel 'The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck'. Really worth a look. Also band called Auri which include Troy, Tuomas and Tuomas' wife Johanna Kurkela (incredible singer). Marko, Emppu and Kai have also done a lot.

YES, Phantom of the Opera, with Henk Poort. The original Phantom in the Netherlands. He played it over 600 times, back in the nineties. Floor saw him perform it when she was 11 and from there wanted to be a singer too. In " Beste Zangers 2019 " they performed it together, a dream coming true. It is on dailymotion.

Definitely check out her appearance on Beste Zangers! You will not be disappointed! Promise.

…and I love your passion for some of the music and how it moves you. Its not “put on” if you know what I mean. It’s genuine. 🙂

Her solo works have been so far softer(with a certain edge) than her usual production with Nightwish. She is so versatile that she can tackle any genre and put her signature on it. If you want to go back to Nightwish I could suggest Ghost River and Wish I had an Angel from Wacken 2013 or my absolute favorite Devil and the Dark Deep Ocean and Slaying the Dreamer from Buenos Aires 2019. In this four songs you can also appreciate Marko's singing.

Hard to cope with the emotions for me, hear this last week, the same night I heard about the loss of our Queen here in GB, don't mind saying I've she'd many tears listening to this one!

Definitely check out her cover of Let It Go from Disney's Frozen. It's Idina but with a bit of a rock kick! :) I always liked that song because of Idina's belting toward the end of the song, and Floor does it equally well.

Floor’s 2nd single is ‘Storm’. IMO the best version is live with the Dutch Royal Air Force Orchestra. This was on a TV show that was honoring veterans. In particular, a female veteran named Thalita. If I can sneak in a couple of suggests for reactions: Kamelot (with Roy Khan and Tommy Karevik), Beast in Black, and Voiceplay/Geoff Castellucci. You'd dig the Voiceplay stuff they do in makeup, I think. Oogie Boogie Song is usually the gateway but they also just dropped an incredible version of In The Hall of the Mountain King.

Check Out Revamp Floor’s own band she left to join Nightwish but her songs were amazing she wrote most of them, check out Distain, Trial of Monsters or Millions live at Graspop 2010. Also check out her version of Frozen (yes the Disney song). Trust me Floor makes it her own! Rock On Stay Safe!🙏🤘🤘🤘
