Reinventing the body | Deepak Chopra | TEDxTimesSquare

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Think of your body as a process - as a verb, not a noun. Learn how to move in the direction of good health, resurrect your soul, influence markers of aging at the cellular level and change your perception of your physical body.
Deepak Chopra, MD serves as the Founder and Chairman of The Chopra Foundation.
As a global leader and pioneer in the field of mind-body medicine, Chopra transforms the way the world views physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social wellness. Known as a prolific author of more than seventy-five books with twenty-two New York Times best sellers in both fiction and non-fiction, his works have been published in more than thirty-five languages.
Chopra's medical training is in internal medicine and endocrinology and he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He serves as Co-Founder and Chairman of The Chopra Center for Wellbeing, Founder of The Chopra Well on KZread, Adjunct Professor of Executive Programs at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, Adjunct Professor at Columbia Business School, Columbia University, Senior Scientist with The Gallup Organization, Doctor Honoris Causa, The Giordano Brunio University, Doctor of Science, Hartwick College, and Faculty, Disney Imagineering. Time magazine has described Dr. Chopra as one of the top 100 heroes and icons of the century and credits him as "the poet-prophet of alternative medicine."
About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

When I feel like i realized/learned comprehend everything I know its my time to listen to Deepak C :) Then wouww! Another new idea, connection happens in my brain. He is a true well. People who accuse him pseudosciencist must step back and ask themselves what science actually is, or must be. I am myself a scientist, spent 7 years in labs experimenting, re-searching. Searching and researching the truth. Never understanding or questioning the definition of truth! Truth is what I can measure, great! How about the "measurer?" ....... This is where paradigm changes and being a scientist doesnt necessarily mean you are not narrow-minded or dogmatic. Well the idea of non-dual ( combination of seer- the mode of seeing - and the object to be seen) is maybe not for every mind to comprehend right now. March 2023. Lets see what happens in the forthcoming years. THANKS HEAPS DEEPAK FOR LIGHT you carry🙏

I celebrate this knowledge so much!!! My husband received a kidney transplant 17 years ago, and this information is what makes me understand that the kidney he has is no longer a strange organ for his body!!! I really celebrate this!!!! When somebody receives someone's organ, he/she has to take pills to weaken the immune system, so the body won't reject the organ. But now that we understand that the body is a verb, a process, that all the cells that make up the organ are totally new, that the organ he received is not the same he has now, this understanding is so valuable because it means he does not have to take those pills anymore! His kidney is totally his! Is not a strange organ! I REALLY CELEBRATE THIS UNDERSTANDING!👏👍😊👌💫✨️

Dr. D spoke at my college (Maharishi Int'l U) graduation, reminding us that the human body we live in is completely new cells every 7.5 years (1/4 of the 30 year transit of planet Saturn) that whoever we are, whatever we are, we can (and will) always change, can choose to change for the better.... it's stuck with me and helped my life. I am grateful for his help, hope to run into him and thank him sometime..

I believe that a few people will understand the talk, and think its mystical or get critical because he's best seller. So, what he talks about, its not how to hck the age process. But, reiventing what you feel, the deep and meaning that life carries to most top personalities, just imagine if you meditate for a long time, and do these other concepts, master them how they should be, what kind of life will you have? I leave you with this thought.

I am a professional medium and I love how Deepak says, "You have to change your perception of your body." Often times during a reading with a client, the information that comes in from their departed loved one will focus on shared memories, objects exchanged, or they will offer advice. They may discuss their health conditions prior to their passing, but most often, their bodily appearance matters very little. Spirit is more concerned with coming through with their essence, and often, spending most of the time talking about HOW they lived, and not how they passed. I hope that helps anyone out there doing their soul work. I am grateful for this video.

Evolution and progress was slow and took millions of years for the human species. However, that is currently followed by the dawning of the age of consciousness in our species. This phase is going much faster aided greatly by high technology and speedier communications and connectivity that we already shared and we were not much aware of. The spiritual leaders like Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Joe Dispenza, Wayne Dyer, etc. help us greatly to understand nature and spirit and what is reality which is greatly unseen to us and not in the realm of our everyday day existence. Deepak is a great teacher as he is comprehensively in all aspects of knowledge in spiritual, physical, mental, emotional needs that we as humans need to know for a healthy, happy, and fulfilled life.
