When that happened live, I swear all you saw was a blur flash across the screen. But you knew it was Sean Taylor. He was the only guy with that type of speed, anticipation, and hitting power. He baited Bledsoe into that throw and poor Patrick Crayton paid the price.

This game means so much to me on a personal level. It goes way beyond football. My dad passed away in 2013. We were watching this game together. I was 13 years old at the time. When moss caught the winning touchdown I grabbed him around the waist and picked him up over my head as we jumped up and down in the living room. Such an amazing moment to be a skins fan. Why this game doesn't get more recognition as one of the greatest comebacks of all time is beyond me, but I remember almost going to bed cuz I thought the game was over and my dad encouraged me to stick around and sho nuff they pulled it off. At first I was wondering who destroyed that Dallas receiver and as soon as I thought about I said theres only one guy who could have hit someone that hard... Sean Taylor!

Another great memory. I was actually rehearsing with a band in Hyattsville, MD the night this was on. We had the game with no volume, and by the time we finished, we'd pretty much resigned ourselves to the fact that the Redskins had lost. It was the 4th quarter, and they were down 13-0. When I got home about 30 minutes later and flipped on the TV just to see what the final score was, and I saw that the Skins had WON!! I was like "WTF! What happened?!?" The broadcasters were going on and on about Santana Moss!

Gale Sayers needed 7 years to prove he was the greatest pure talent at his position ever. Sean Taylor needed less than 4. For those calling him nothing more than a hitter you never saw him play. He took over games like only the likes of ray Lewis, Lawrence Taylor, Reggie white could. He was as much of a ball hawk as ed reed, dropped the anvil and forced fumbles at an amazing rate. He could read offenses like it was nothing. He singlehandedly won them a playoff game. Ed will be the first to admit he wasn’t the best safety to come out the U. Troy wasn’t near the hitter Sean was. This team was built around his defensive unit and he was their heart and soul despite being a quiet humble guy turning his life around. They fed off his ruthlessness and effort!!

in my mind he is the 3rd best safety of all time behind only Ronnie Lott and Ed Reed. I turned the TV off that night midway through the 4th quarter with the score 13-0, convinced the Cowboys had the game well in hand. I didn't know the Redskins had come back to win until the next morning. You can only imagine my reaction.

My father told me to go to sleep because we were going nowhere and I had school the next day (I was 14). I'm half asleep and my dad comes into my room to let me know we won! I've never seen my old man so happy. That 2005 season was special

Will never ever forget this game. I was in elementary school at the time so unfortunately I had a bedtime. My mom goes to bed early and my dad has the tendency to fall asleep on the couch. I snuck downstairs to watch the second half and I went to bed with 5 minutes left.... my dad woke me up and told me in the morning and I couldn’t believe it.

i just fucking LOVE my Redskins!!!! seeing Brunell Moss Taylor and Portis doing their thing, man! imagine what Sean would have become if he had lived on . thank God these guys played for the Redskins. we will return to dominance one day, oh yes we will. Braves on the Warpath motherfuckers!!! All of these guys still have a great relationship with the franchise to this day. We miss you Sean but your legacy lives on. HTTR!!!

An absolute punch to the gut because the Cowboys were in control and had outplayed Washington for much of the game and two (39 & 70) late-4th Quarter touchdowns by Brunell to Moss just erased everything. This game to me from earlier in that 2005 season is what decided that final Wild Card spot in the NFC because Washington finished 10 - 6 and Dallas finished 9 - 7.

That was the sweetest ending to a game EVER! The look on Parcells and Jerry Jones’ faces was priceless!!!! Gibbs never liked Parcells very much as I recall. And I loathed the man! I woke my then 3 year old son cheering for the game! He’s 16 now and as big a Redskins fan as I am.
