Red Rose Dwelling Fire 1/11/22 Levittown, PA.
On scene video of a house fire in Levittown (Bucks County); Tuesday evening. Firefighters from Wm Penn, Penndel, Levittown #2 & Fairless Hills worked in freezing temperatures to extinguish a fire involving a dwelling in the Red Rose Gate section. Responding crews were met with heavy smoke showing and fire becoming visible through the roof of an attached garage. Firefighters utilized three handlines off Squirt 13 to bring the fire under control in about a half hour, containing most of the fire to the garage area but not limiting the residence to smoke and heat damage. All occupants made it out safe.

We need more ladders this fire isn't going out. I don't like to Monday morning quarter back but guys get a k12 on that door immediately and start spraying water. Let's spend 20 minutes trying to level a ladder truck that probably won't even reach the structure. And start spraying the roof while your cutting .... Also some training on cutting garage doors is needed

I think they were still getting used to operating that truck which was brand new at the time.

Seems a lot of confusion about what procedures should begin to get this inferno under control, unbelievable how long water supply has not arrived on flames!
That was a rather sad operation.

Thankfully, the garage is toast, their isn’t. any more roof to catch fire and destroy the rest of this structure,might as well leave your house and let what’s left to burn thru nite, not a good attack on structure from 1st. Engine on scene.
