Miriam I know this is an old video, but tips and tricks never go out of style. After years of drawing rings around cylinders I have found that stretching a rubber band around a cylinder is a LOOOT easier than messing with tape! Just a thought. Also, go lightly with the Acetone ( nail polish remover ) it'll dissolve most plastics, or at least make them cloudy. Dave

When my brother and I were little kids in the '70's my Mom did something similar to this with us only it wasn't this slick and polished. Very nice craft thank you for sharing it with us and thank you for the good memories with Mamma. :)

If you make a cone out of your paper, you can insert one end into the top of the dome, to act as a funnel, and then the snow will go into the dome easier, with less mess.

I truly enjoyed your domes video. My hands shake, so I have had to "improvise" on some steps. For the snow: a nozzle squeeze bottle works quite well, & a small metal (so no static electricity) funnel to pour into the bottle, although if you're careful, you can use the squeeze bottle for this step, too. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your videos. God bless & keep you safe.

for white plastic left on bottle you can use a hair dryer to remove any stuck on labels or white plastic on bottles it's much faster!

Very nice recycle project for xmas, great tip to make my domes a lot sheeper, thanks !! A few tips I hope you'll maybe like: to make placing the snow around the dome somewhat easier: - place the dome on a big piece of paper (wich has a folding line in the middel), - sprinkle a lot of snow around the bottle - press the snow - then fold the piece of paper and poor (like in a funnel) it into the dome - You can also poor the snow into the bottle through a funnel. Or make a funnel in the snow sac itself: - make a small cut in the sac - squeeze soda bottle neck you've cut off in this smal cut and seal the edges with glue this way it's easy to poor the snow over your projects and you can close this diy funnel with the cap of the soda bottel. If you use a mirror as bottom of the dome it could be nice to leave a small part without snow and then put a ice skater on it. Have lot's of crafting fun !! (forgive me my English, but I'm Dutch and in a hurry at the moment ;-) )
