Recon! Campaign: Fall Blau
This is an unboxing of the solitaire wargame Campaign: Fall Blau. Designed by Martin Melbardis and published by Catastrophe Games. Campaign: Fall Blau was the winner of the Board Game Geek (BGG) 2020 Solitaire Print and Play Contest as Best Wargame.
Campaign: Fall Blau is a solitaire wargame that takes place during WW2 and puts the player in charge of the German summer offensive of 1942 in Southern Russia, code named operation Fall Blau. Pick your three generals and use your resources wisely in order to obtain your campaign's objectives.
One month turns. Decide which card (objective) to go after, each with a unique set of Soviet defences. Manage supplies required for each offensive, or choose to take an operational pause. Receive random event cards that are mostly beneficial but a few are Soviet counterattacks that can throw a serious monkey-wrench into your plans.
Play continues until the snows begin, and the Russian winter ends all further attacks.

Dude! If I wasn't so pitifully broke, this would be on my table right now! I have been lusting over it for a while, since I first saw it. So glad you're giving it a play! This game looks fantastic. Might be what I need after I try my hand at Enemy Action Ardennes
Nice Wayne, I have the pc game case blue from Matrix but never play it anymore. Watched a video last night of a photographer who video taped the case blue in color. Might have to check this out further. However, into my season ticket baseball now, interesting, never heard of this company checking website now, yes I think I remember watching the Gallipolli game forgot who published nice

It's a fun little game, although light and not very thematic. I enjoy it, but if you're looking for a heavier game, it might not be for you.
