Rebuilding my garage workshop for woodworking and tinkering
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
You all called it. The ramps were a waste of space, and honestly I never really intended on leaving them permanently. We have plenty of dangerous stuff on Berm Peak.
So today we re-use the ramp wood to build an even bigger shop! Next to the bay door there's enough airflow to do woodworking, making it the perfect spot for all the saws and sanders. Enjoy

If you end up doing a lot of woodworking, consider a vortex dust separator you can add on in front of your shop vac. It allows the big chunks to collect in a bigger container that is easier to empty and saves a lot of wear and tear on the shop vac. I have the dust right one that is pretty legit.

Just a tip. It's a good idea to have the tablesaw slightly above the outfeed table to eliminate the chance of any wood catching the outfeed table while you're in the middle of a cut. If you put a washer or two under the tablesaw it should be enough.

You’re ocd in tools and organization is on point. That’s also why these are some of the best videos on KZread. Nice work Seth, those stairs are the same size as your Florida closet.
Seth, you should consider a cyclone and dust bin to put between your tool and shop vac for dust collection. I built a portable one and it makes so you basically never have to clean your shop vac again, all the heavy saw dust falls in the bin under the cyclone. Check out the Oneida Dust Deputy and google portable dust collection builds. It's a fun build you can integrate with Ian shop vac with. You're shop vac with maintain it's 100% vacuum power and you'll have to change your filter after a few years, maybe.
So awesome that you have a sweet shop!! Some people might say you’re lucky to have all of the trails and the shop at your house, but that’s not the case at all. You made everything here and didn’t sit around waiting for someone else to do it. Awesome video and keep up the good work

I’m guessing in about a month or 3 he’ll install house air so he can have compressed air on either end, and house vac set up so he won’t need to swap out vacuums at any area. You have 14 foot ceilings, I’m sure you’ll make use of them haha. The shop is looking more and more legit by the year man. I’m jealous.

‘This is the dream garage
This is a nice improvement, and much more useful than the ramps. This video is reminding me how nice the *bike* side of your shop space is too -- I love all your content, and we've seen a bit of woodworking projects lately, but I'd actually like to see more videos shot in the bike shop. Sometimes it seems we only see your garage when you are making improvements to it, but I'd like to see you using it to work on and tinker with your bikes, just to mix it up a bit. Keep up the great work!
Looks great!! Love the shop!! Also you might want to shim the table saw up like 1/16th or 1/8th. This way the table saw is a little higher then your out feed table. That little step down ensures whatever your cutting won’t get hung up on the transition between the table saw and work bench.
That’s a really nice setup having a little woodworking area. What drill press did you buy? If you still have that race bmx it would be cool to see it in one of your videos maybe on berm peak.
