A sweet but sad song. I love the fact that Reba's TV daughter Joanne and SIL Steve are in this video. They had a great chemistry on the tv show. That is why this video is so heartbreaking. Cause you xan tell they still love each other

It makes sense to me that they did though. They were first loves that got married, but their marriage was a result of Cheyenne getting pregnant in high school, and they wanted their baby to have both parents, so they didn't get to date others, "shop around" as Van once called it. First loves usually don't work out anyway, but when you remember that they grew at different times and in different directions, all of those things together lead to divorce. A part of them will always love each other, but the Van and Cheyenne together chapter is over.

I still loved the fact when, you shot this Reba that rather than hire different actors that you had utilized your fellow actors of the show, I much admire your respect and compassion for that alone. Reba never thinks she’s above ☝️ anyone or has this sense of entitlement, that’s country music to the core, real country folks sing country music!

Why does it bother you ?? In my opinion REBA is the Queen of Country.

I have never heard this song before and I hope I never do again. That was friggin sad and I am not even divorced, just a loser shot down by a thousand woman a million years ago. Does Reba even age? She looks beautiful.

I remember Reba all the way from fancy Jane.

Ya I know what you mean I had every other weekend then when it was convenient for my dad he lives half an hour away my kids are adults and he has not met them oh well I got great husband and father for my kids

I'm late to this song and video BUT I watched all the Reba show when I was younger and this video... ohmygosh.

I’m watching Reba when Elizabeth was just born and this song came to my mind I can’t imagine how hard it is for families to split up!!

My mom and biological dad continued to love each other until the day she died but they were toxic so they stayed apart from each other. It hurt me so bad. Bc I could see the love between them when they met every other weekend to switch me out

My ex-wife & I didn't have any kids sadly. She gives me O face visitation every other wknd. Now I love her again, well every other wknd at least.

I kinda like the idea that Van and Cheyenne divorced. There was a storyline where Cheyenne started growing as a person and Van started making money and Cheyenne didn't want to marry him again. I think that them divorcing, and eventually finding their way back together would be a nice plot for a spin-off/continuation.

I feel you my dad came from a very broken home and unfortunately now so do I but although I say unfortunately everything in me wishes they split when things got bad when I was 6 not 3 years ago when I was 12 and everything got worse but I don't resent my parents for the split just for the fact they had to do it during the pandemic when my life was already so messed up and the fact my moms been engaged for like a year now that's what I resent

I love Cheyenne and Van so much that this awesome song hurts my heart even more!!! I cant stand to think of them apart

I didn't know if that was some fan with too much money or yours. I knew that if it WAS your bus then you wouldn't come out into a parking lot with 200+ crazy truck drivers so I went to bed. Much better days. I wish I could go back

One of my absolute favourite Reba duets...this and The Heart Won't Lie with Vince Gill. This is so heartbreaking and so true for a lot of families (including mine). Beautiful lyrics and stunning vocals and harmonies from Reba and Kenny (shame he's not in the video though).

Some times Parents try to put on a brave face for the sake of their Children, they lose sight of how those Children were made. In my opinion I feel both Parents should take a course in what's really best for the Children. I'm not saying that you should stay together for the Children, when there's no love there, I believe we probably seen to many couples do that only to put the Children in a no win situation. I wonder when this song was written???

Can I just say how great Howie and Joanne look. And it warmest my heart that hopefully a Reba reboot will happen. I know she's going back on tour but I do wish that would be like a Christmas special or Thanksgiving special just a couple episodes to Walmart hearts once again. Is something to be said about the show Reba but especially about the song. Because if you think about it cuz that's where Cheyenne and then we'll have ended up every other weekend. Only one I just ponder. Love y'all

Divorce hurts children mentally. Don't care parents should look how it's going to affect the children who is involved too.

I love the duet. I think it's a sad song the father has to see his children every other weekend. The mother and father are from Reba's TV show I think the song and video is about Reba's daughter and son-in-law from the Reba show are not together. The daughter had a girl then a boy. It's sad in the song it says that they still love each other and need each other. They will not tell each other about it. ❤😢

This song hit close. Just finalized a divorce, and while there were no children, it would have otherwise been this situation if there were. There was a love we shared, but we wanted different things in the marriage. We probably would each wish things could work out and we’d be together again, even though we wouldn’t have been our happiest

OMG and the sad truth while the children are being passed around and not fully understand but, when the children are older are then really wondering why things turn out this way.

People keep talking about the adults being Van and Cheyenne. I can't help but think about when Kenny Chesney talks about the Grilled Cheese sandwich. Every time I hear this part makes me think of when Jake hated the sandwich Brock made. He thought it was due to Brock making it instead if Reba. Come to find out it was just the type of bread Brock has. 😭😂 Also, does Kenny Chesney's song "There goes my Life" remind anyone else of Van and Cheyenne? Or is it just me? I know there are many teen pregnancies, but so weird how I see Van everytime I watch that music video.
