I was married for over 10 years, when I got home from work he was either sleeping, at his parents, or watching a ball game. I was like I didn't exist. I felt more alone when I was married than now!! I'm divorced now and happier than I was with him. Without communication, respect, and spending time together it's just broken. Listening to Reba in 2020!! Thank you Reba!💕

In the beginning, he wuz supportive & understanding, but as time went on, he started saying some very hurtful things, so much 2 the point that I had 2 get my Dad involved. We wound up breaking up after 7 years of being 2gether cuz I could not take the verbal/mental abuse anymore. Now, it has been 5 years & we have not spoken 2 each other since, but it must have been 4 the better cuz I am way better off w/o him & I WILL NEVER let another man treat me like that again!!

Pregnancy is hard and a baby makes any relationship harder. I have a two month old, married and 33. The baby is destructive towards our marriage but we are waiting it out. A lot of changes are going on with little help. I suggest seek help first. I hope the best comes to you and your little one. God bless ❤️

That was my husband of 25 years. The last 10...if he wasn't at work, he was drinking in the garage. Or coming in to beat me. I was so lonely. All of our kids grown, and we should have been spending time together. Now he's spending time with his drunk fiance. Doing all of the things he never did with me. They deserve each other. It gave me the realization that it wasn't me, like he said it was. Abusers don't stop abusing, even when they get someone new. Coming to the knowledge that I didn't deserve the abuse, has helped me so much! 💗💗💗

I know what you mean cuz this one brings the tears for me and thats saying something because I'm such an introverted person. I had 3 children with a man and we were very close and even he had a hard time getting anything out of me or telling what I felt most of the time. I find it awkward and somewhat difficult to share emotions or show them for that matter and yet this song still gets my eyes just a watering

I agree. I am a bartender and recently heard a horrific story from a friend of mine. He found out his girlfriend was a meth addict and a bit psycho. Hang in there babe. Not everyone is crazy but you have to do a lot of searching. Trust me I know. Single again.

Reba I'm so sorry things didn't work out in your marriage. I think sometimes we get so wrapped up in our careers that we forget that we have a life out there. Narvel is a fool to have cheated on you but you are going to come out on top. I know it may not feel like it right now but you will see. Even if you decide not to start another relationship I think you will be just fine. You have tons of people that care about you even if you didn't have one red cent. I can say I know how you feel I was married to the person I thought I would be with for the rest of my life and after 27 years she decides she wants a divorce. I do still love her because she was the mother of my children. She did remarry after our divorce but it only lasted 3 years. I have not remarried and most likely wont because now I have found myself. I was really sick when she filed for divorce and I guess that's what hurt the most. I'm recovering and getting somewhat better as time go on. I do wish you all the happiness in the world.

I am so sorry about to read about your failed marriage she obviously didn't appreciate you. I too just got out of a long relationship with someone I thought was my world and he hurt me. but he's in jail now for breaking and entering as well as robbing the poor woman. I have been single since.

I've always loved Reba. She's a good actress. She's an amazing singer. Love all her songs. She's beautiful. And I love her red hair. Most men prefer blonds. I prefer brunettes. But I absolutely love redheads. Reba has everything going for her. Looks, talent, and, though I've never had the pleasure of meeting her in person, I'm sure she is golden on the inside, too. I remember hearing her first when I was a teen, singing, YOU LIFT ME UP, UP, UP TO HEAVEN. I don't know if that is the title of that song. But I heard it on the radio, first, when I was still a teen or young adult.

My grandmother had the pleasure of meeting her when she worked at a restaurant down South. She said her and the crew were horrible. They were loud, left a big mess and didn't leave a tip. But that was way back when Reba was probably first starting. She's probably a better person now.

This song got me through my last breakup. I thought he was my everything. I thought I was in love with him.. But now I see his true colors.. He didn't want to try and work it out. He let a small problem get inbetween us like always.. Well bye bye. I'm over you now and moving on

I remember getting sent to a counselor because of this song when I was in high school. It came on the radio one day while I was doing homework and I wrote down “consider me gone” on the back of one of my assignments so I could remember the name of the song to download later. Messed around and forgot it was on the page and it was classified as a threat. Good times lol

I was about 13 when this song came out, and it was one of my all time favorites. I played it over and over and over, screaming these lyrics. Reba is the best role model for young girls and women. She is a classy lady and a wonderful entertainer. I just wish I could go to one of her concerts, but I live in Washington state and I have never seen her in the state on her concert schedule..... God Blessed her with a fantastic voice and she is using it for all of the right reasons....

This song reminds me, that if your not ready to hear the truth, when the other is trying to give you the answers that your looking for, you have to prepare yourself to get your feelings hurt. Otter wise the other person won't be truthful. If you need time to deal with what you been told, take it, but don't blame the person who is giving what you been begging for. Unfortunately life is not all peaches and cream. No one is perfect. Unfortunately if you seek the truth in anything, someone is likely to get his/ her feelings hurt.
