Sir, Can you make a detailed video on the EB1 Green Card Process with respect to a PhD applicant applying for it, in terms of the research articles required for it, how they are evaluated, the number of articles published, their evaluation by the immigration authorities, filing of the Green Card etc. Although there are videos on Citizenship(like the very one made by you), but not on the Green Card process. Since there aren't many videos on the internet about this from an individual's experience and perspective of filing, and , as you have gone through it, so you are the best to person to explain this.

I want to pursue FPM in B-school, though your video has more relevance to US environment but some of the things might become applicable for Indian environment as well. Thank you for your video. Could you please make a video about the FPM program in Indian scenario for many aspirants like me.

Can PhD student do work even if he is taking stipends from university to manage his dependents' expenses?? And are TA/RA-ships count in his 20 hours of work permission?

You can only work on campus while doing your PhD. Off-campus, jobs aren't allowed. If you get caught, you'll deport. TA/RA jobs are counted as on-campus jobs for which get your salary(labelled as stipend).

What should you do if you were told that no funding is available for you after your first year in a top 40 US CS PhD program? Especially if your admission offer mentioned only one-year of funding guarantee, and when you get suspicious about the offer and asked for the reason, you were told that this is a formality and most students are funded throughout their PhD. What if when you arrive no professor wants to take you as a PhD student and just ignore your emails from the day one? Is not this considered a scam that is bringing an international student with tricky offers from overseas and leaving them stranded with no funding? Please alert other students about this issue. These days it has become a common trick applied by some state schools with low funding schemes that are in a dire need for cheap TA labor. Btw: There are no academic dishonesty, deficiency or other issues. GPA is 4.0 in the program.

I am working in semiconductor field. 1) Is it possible to do MS in a US university after M.Tech from India in almost the same field of study ? 2) Will a PhD in the US help a candidate to get into eb1 category? Or how far is it helpful in getting a Greencard ? 3) is it better to get PhD as early as possible in career or is it better to do PhD after getting a few years (6-7) of experience? Thank you in advance 🙏🏼

"lekin medical ek aisa field hai jahan sirf 2 saal mehnat krni hai" 😅 This has demotivated me a lot now.. ,l😖 I can't decide what to do now.. 🤷 kch naya nd interesting nd challenging kaam krne ka mann krta hai.. but koi job security hi nhi hai.. 😅😅 aisi field me kyun jaayen.

@@DesiAmericanProfessor So, sir.. can only 5% PhDs can fulfill these factors. How to choose the right topic for phd nd how to select the correct lab.. also , the quality of phd work depends largely on the guide we get.. what if our professional relations aren't gud aith the guide.. that's totally luck based. How can we choose a career that is purely luck based.. 😖 I really love science.. enjoy doind the practicals nd knowing new facts.. but I'm unable to get a clear path to make a career in research.
