@@thefreethinker6176 This is tougher than one might anticipate. Pirri was an exceptionally fantastic dmf, because he scored over 150+ goals as a freaking dmf. He was also a player who Bernabeu himself gave the Laureada to, other being Benito. I think I might edge Casemiro but that is all due to my recency bias. I think Pirri might have been better looking at the stats but I cannot be certain since I didn't watch him play... Casemiro has a better trophy case due to all those UCL triumphs but Pirri has a lot more League titles. I think this is impossible to decide

Nice the young generation can find out such legendary players like Di Stefano, Gento, and Puskas

2018 was overrated. Finished 3rd in Liga, barely beating Juventus and Bayern (controversially) by a skin hair, CR7 wasn't scoring as he used to, the bench stars from 2017 weren't as capable, etc

I mean they lost the Super Cup in 98 but their trashing 2-7 at the hands of Deportivo back in 95 was ridiculous. Besides Laudrup their best player was Bebeto who wa 30 years old and Zamorano who didnt click well with the team. Other than that they were a bunch of half baked locals including Luis Enrique.
