It was not a peaceful rescue as it seems to be in this video. It left people distressed and in pain. The survivors were mostly rescued by fisherman and other boats, the coast guard arrived about 40 minutes later.

Hundreds of high school students died due to their negligence. Brick Immortars videos about it would give a great understanding for anyone interested in how poorly it was handled.

The car that went off into the river, that’s the perfect example of knowing what to do to get out safely. Either get the door open immediately if possible or if not able to get into the back seat and try that door. If too hard stay calm and wait for the car to settle and then open the door. Thank you mythbusters for that knowledge. 😅

0:32 I know somebody who saw that happening in person the taxi driver who takes me on the commute every day was doing a job and saw it happening it is in Reading, England it was not the fire brigade doing that but a builder as the building was still under construction and the person trapped on the roof is a workman the person operating the crane (which is attached to the roof of the burning building) decided he needed to save people his name is Glen Edwards and he was rewarded for his actions that day

Im sorry 😂, but 304 high schoolers died on the korean ferry which sank. They were told to stay put by the captain who then left the ship. It was a sad day for all and maybe there were some heroic acts but still so many lives lost.😢

Ive seen the tractor cutting the path in front of that fire so it couldnt spread. Just a guy with a tractor probably saving peoples homes, i know it was a huge fire. Some of these animals though just getting in weird situations... like who knows how to preform CPR on an elephant? Apparently someone does.

@@GalinaEv they did keep any eye out, they watched the whole thing, I’d guess the general consensus is the adult would demand help if needed but the kid with the phone never tore his eyes away from the screen. I think that they should have gotten up to see if the teacher needed help but to many doing so my actually cause a distraction Sadly the look but don’t help thing happens often, like when you see a crash, many don’t stop or call 911 because they assume someone already did or will.

This incident was a MASSIVE tragedy where the captain and the crew as well as the government, the coast guards and rescue operators have COMPLETELY abandoned the victims and left almost 400 innocent people to die as they watched the Ferry sink with them still inside as they tried to escape, but couldn't. Most of these victims were high school children. The boats you were showing in the clip were actually civillain fisher boats that had come to the rescue of those few that have survived and it was civilian volunteer divers that has recovered the bodies of those that had passed away. This tragedy has traumatised the entire nation and left a massive impact on Korea with a big memorial event held for each anniversary every year and the grief never faded with large protests and movements taking place every year as well, especially after the Halloween stampede in Itaewon and several other horrifying incidents happened as well, all related to the government, faulty construction works, lack of emergency services, lack of human empathy, selfishness and greed. This is nothing against you, of course. You couldn't have known, but this incident was anything but peaceful or heroic and was nothing but an incredibly cruel and horrifying event that could've been prevented so many different times.

Maybe we can ser up a go fund me site to get the dude a belt....

Just thought I’d throw a little fact in there at 10:29 these guys are the RNLI which is the volunteer lifeguards for the uk so these guys are doing this by their own will they don’t get paid for it, much respect for them 🤍🩵
