You can't film on private property, now if you were on the sidewalk by the street(that's the Pavement area where cars drive at 25-95mph, not to be confused with a private driveway where most people drive from 1-30mph.) Then you would have been correct to be able to film there.

Note left side as that is offside in the UK, he was doing it right side, so would be fine if it is a foreign make and is left hand drive lol Somewhere there is footage of a pregnant woman peeing into a policemans helmet, and that was an old law too. Another law that might still exist.
