The sheriff of my county is a close family friend, he's been an officer for around 35 years. I can't imagine what he's seen. But what I do know is I appreciate absolutely everything he and you and other officers do everyday. So thank you so very much for all youve done and all you've gone through.

He’s right about being hugged helps with stress. I found out early how just getting hugged by my husband made me feel better and more relaxed. We don’t hug old people enough, but they need and deserve it.

I work with and teach disabled adults so I see random acts of kindness everyday at work. However, on KZread it seems the meanest of some humans seems to have taken over. Of friendly companion animals, one of the last on most people's list would be a snake. I used to have a California kingsnake who was as nice and gentle as any puppy dog. She loved hugs and pettings. I would rub her jaw with my nose and she would sit motionless for 15+ minutes enjoying it. She died of old age in February of 2019 and I still miss her. I have another California kingsnake now and he is just as gentle and sweet as his predecessor. Yes, even snakes like kisses and hugs.

I will never understand the excitement people feel at getting a chance for a lifetime of being overworked and in debt😂

It's hilarious when acts of kindness and wholesomeness are disguised; as with the case of the person who likely untied his own shoe in order to give that lady an excuse to hold the flowers he was carrying in order to give them to her. I'd like to see more hilariously disguised intentions like that. This is also actually the first time I'd seen someone who was homophobic actually become an ally, though. It's great to see. I'm also curious what made him own up to his mistake and take steps to change his mindset.
