To answer these questions effectively, you should first understand how to view these interviews to see the role they play in the grand picture.
Here are real estate brokerage interview tips to help you leave a positive impression and find the brokerage of your dreams.
First-Congratulations! You passed the state exam and now you're ready to interview with a real estate brokerage. The next step to becoming a real estate agent is to "hang your license."
Hanging your license is a colloquial term used when you're hired by a real estate brokerage. But, before you sign a contract, you first need to pass the brokerage interview.
The team leader of the brokerage will want to get to know you. Either they will interview you or another representative of the leadership team will. This is where they see if you are the right candidate for the job. Will you fit in their brokerage. This step is important to brokerage leaders because they just won't accept anyone into the brokerage. When they do that, then they are at risk of a poor brokerage reputation because they can have unprofessional agents represent their brokerage name. So, this is your shot. This your opportunity to leave a lasting impression on the brokerage.
The first thing to do is relax. Because you're not just being interviewed. You're interviewing THEM.
Flip this script and know why this interview is REALLY important.
WHY is booking a real estate interview important? You should book an interview with a brokerage because that is how find out if the brokerage is the best fit for you. This is your opportunity to get to know the brokerage. You can find out what the brokerage is like, what kind of training they offer, is the "vibe" just right? All of this is important. Take the real estate interview as your opportunity to learn EVERYTHING there is to know about the brokerage.
In this video, Robert Rico helps you prepare for your big real estate brokerage interview. This includes the important questions you need to ask real estate brokerages. Watch this video only if you want to leave a lasting impression in your interview.

    Is it better to schedule an interview online (if available), by phone call or in person?

    All three of these option are great. The quickest and easiest way to schedule an interview would be over the phone. You're always more than welcome to visit the brokerage in person to schedule an interview but this could potentially throw off people if their busy. Hope this helps!

    What are the most common questions a 'Brokerage' would ask? Is it similar to a regular job interview? Thanks!

    Yes! The brokerages are interested in getting to know you and what your goals are. Don't forget to ask questions about their brokerage and what they offer. It's okay to turn the table during the interview (:

    Do brokerage's hire students?

  • @USRealtyTraining

    @USRealtyTraining

    4 жыл бұрын

    This is a great question! A brokerage will want to hire someone who is able to commit to being a real estate agent and will carry the work ethic of one. If you're able to commit to being a real estate agent and a student, then finding a brokerage to work for won't be an issue if you have your license and show a strong work ethic. However, balancing both will be extremely challenging. We always recommend real estate agents go "all-in" on their real estate careers to fully maximize your effort. Please read our article on being a part-time real estate agent at this link: www.carealtytraining.com/side-income-real-estate-agent/ Plenty of people go from a full-time job into real estate by transitioning. They'll work full time at their job and part-time as a real estate agent to build up a cushion comfy enough for them to leave their full-time job. If you can balance a full-time commitment to your studies as a student and part-time as a real estate agent, then you should be able to work a brokerage.

    Hi, Tyrah. Questions vary from brokerage to brokerage. So, I would recommend watching our interview with Nikki Miller. She's the team leader at the Keller Williams Santa Monica brokerage and we talk specifically about what is discussed in the interview process: kzread.info/dash/bejne/fo6GpbCxga21dZs.html

    Hi, Tyrah. You don't have to own a car to become a successful real estate agent. However, it does help with getting around the town or city you live in since real estate agents are always on the go.
