The best song on All Killer No Filler if you ask me.

Happy to see you enjoy this Canadian band! They are for me one of the band of my early adulthood, which I really appreciate. If you want to go "old school" with them, with their first hits, you have to look at the album "All Killer No Filler" (released in 2001) with the songs "Fat Lip", "In Too Deep" or "Motivation". Have a good one and keep rocking! :)

Well after that the band literary told everyone it was only for the sake of the video and they were not actually changing their name.

I have seen them live a couple times and they are a lot of fun. Fat Lip is great and you should also do In Too Deep because of the hilarious video and killer guitar solo.

Will Sasso reprised that role when they announced a new album 3 years ago. Not necessarily a recommendation for reaction, but the video was called "Sum 41 - Order In Decline | Rock is Dead" if you were interested.

This came out in 2002 so they're in their late 30s and early 40s now. They started as a pop punk band in the early 2000s before shifting towards a more alternative metal sound. Their only pop punk albums are "Half Hour Of Power" (2000) "All Killer, No Filler" (2001) and "Underclass Hero" (2007)

I was born in 1985 and from the Midwest USA and I know Top of the Pops but because I grew up listening to all kinds of music and knew the history watching vhs tapes of the performances from classic bands

They sound like Green Day and The Ofspring had a baby.

Since they were mentioned in the intro: *THE HIVES* The best way to describe them is probably "Garage Rock Revival Revival" dripping with sarcasm. They shove your face into all your bad habits and delusions with a cheeky wink and you love them for it. I especially recommend "Hate to Say I Told You So", "Walk Idiot Walk", "Well All Right", "Bigger Hole to Fill", "I Want More", "My Time is Coming" and their newest "Good Samaritan". Probably in that order. But honestly, there's too many great songs they have and I had to really hold back to not list almost everything I've heard from them... The Hives have been around for a while - "Hate to Say I Told You So" is from 2000 - but unlike tons of bands with that kind of history, they've kept their quality, if not gotten better with every release... "You careful types with sorted lives Won't know what I mean When I speed through life Like biblical locusts on a laser beam" - I Want More, The Hives

They actually talked to the strokes before this to make sure they were ok with them parodying their music video

Throwback suggestion- 2012 Steam Powered Giraffe “Honeybee” and “Automatonic Electronic Harmonics” Kind of a quirky band but the music is really good. Great harmony!

I saw them in concert. Thought they sounded better live. Lots of energy. Also Yellowcard was good one from around the same time period. Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard was good.

Love watching you. Sum 41 is a fantastic band. For sure watch "Fat Lip". Was filmed over 2 days and was them inviting a bunch of people out to a party and was totally unscripted.

Just a bit of information for you, Top of the Pops got finished, can't remember the year, because main presenter, Jimmy Saville, got implicated and an abuse ring stemming from the 70s and 80s. He was sentenced to jail and, soon after, passed away

He was never sentenced he died in 2011 and all of the info came out afterwards and it is sad that he didn’t get punished properly.

I really hate this style of rock. I refer to it as the american pie time of rock. This particular song is one of the few I put in my playlists. This is one of the only songs I really like from this time. Went to warped tour just to hear them sing this song lol.

Top of the Pops really didn't age well with the whole Jimmy Saville thing.... We still have the charts in UK but not ToTP. Mind you I've not owned a TV since 2014 so I could be wrong.
