Hot Take: All Killer No Filler would have been a better introduction to Sum 41.

nah, DTLI has their heavier side and pop punk side, if you've heard it and listen to any other one you can go "oh, I get how they'd go in this direction", while even Chuck seems like a weird change if you've only heard All Killer

Honestly imo AKNF sounds WAY more dated and tropey then DTLI, which I don’t personally mind, but Brad would absolutely hate it. So I honestly disagree

I mean I understand maybe if it's a bad album or hated band, but it's kinda neither and they definitely occupy an interesting part of the pop punk/metal scene. I mean doesn’t seem very objective from the outset of the review and really doesnt relate to the album at all. Just in poor taste 😅.

Meh, it's funny.

The albums production was really shit that's not my opinion (although I do agree) but Deryck has mentioned many times. It was the first album he said he felt rushed to write all the songs, their manager (Greg Nori) wriggled his way into producing it, pretty sure it was the first album he produced and Deryck didn't really know how to communicate with the mixer on what he wanted for the mix. Aside from that most of these songs are absolute bangers, excellent album.

Sum 41 kicks ass. Dude I know you never heard these songs but my honest review of your review is you paid hardly any attention to the lyrics cause some of these songs have a deeper meaning and you get caught us in the head bobbing. Your yawning is also annoying at least pretend to be awake when doing a review it makes you seem like you are board and just doing the review because you got a donation, which you are but its pretty disrespectful to the person who paid the money. Like I said Sum 41 kicks ass if you listened to this album 2 times you would be hooked.
