Lily is a beautiful name thats seen a big resurgence in the last decade. I know three women alone who've named their daughter Lily in the last 5 years. Neither woman knows the other but still, kinda illustrates how popular the name is right now.

The rawness between the two of you in this video was a delight 😂😊 so many pretty names. & I completely agree with you! Saying that a name is just plain ugly versus saying that you don’t like the name for your own child are two completely different things! 😄

Happened with both my kids. The first I love her name and when i said it to my husband i just knew. With our second i said a name that i liked but didn't love but knew it was going to be her name. I do think it suits her though.

Agree..God definitely gave me the name Lily before I even knew I would be having another baby..like 10 mos before I even found out I was pregnant..and it was never a name I considered.

Ari Fox! Or Haddon! (HAD-DONE) everyone thinks my son name is Hayden but I love the name! It’s after Charles Haddon Spurgeon! And our daughter is Emsley!

I definitely can relate to you as far as being the one doing most of the work finding names for our kids. My husband just helped me narrow it down to a few, then a couple, and then finally, the one we went with. To us the meaning of the name was just as important as the name itself. It's crazy, but I notice a lot of babies end up growing up to be what their names mean. God has a plan for your little baby and will lead you to a name that will fit them just right.🙂

Lol this video warmed my heart. My husband and I had a very tough time picking out our babies' names and we have 5 children! Whatever you two settle on will be perfect!

What about Hiram for a boy? It’s biblical, easy to spell, and old-fashioned but uncommon enough that there wouldn’t be any other kids in his class with that name.

My neighbors were Mennonite their last name was FOX, their boys were named Sheldon, Kendall and Henry. Girls name was Joelynn and Galinda and Pauline. The mr was named Elvin. Whatever name you pick I'm sure will be absolutely perfect.

You could do Zavier instead of the X. I think Zavier Fox is really cute !!

Blythe has always been my favorite girl's name, but I had all boys and never got to use it. I also really like old-fashioned names (like Josephine) and biblical names (like Zechariah).

Mine was Brianna an 36 yrs ago it was Not a common name... I loved it...

That was such fun _ and Josh, when your do smile, your whole face just lights up! Names, such a dilemma, but I agree, eventually the right one will eventually find you. Huxley is a personal fave of mine at the moment “Hux”-love it but probably not the best with Fox!!!!

You picked such great names for your first 2 children, how did you choose them. Oliver is great! I think a lot of names go with FOX. And Josh not everybody comments on kids names. LOL

I personally thought about the old TV show starring "Koola, Fran & Oli", and that that's what I would end up calling an "Oliver" in the family. :) Same era of programming, different programs "stuck" with us, & "Oliver" just doesn't work as a childs name in either one! My second thought was that I'd call an "Olive" or "Oliver" "Pimento" for a nickname, which might not go over very well at family gatherings...mwahahahaha....TC~

Molly & Sophie are my two favorite girl names. I know they're generally basic normal names, but I just love them. I won't be able to use the because of my age, but my niece is Holly... my sister knew she would name girl that all her life & I just happened to always love the name Molly as much as my sister loved Holly. It would have been cute to have 2 cousins with those names, but oh well I guess. Instead of having children of my own I've been honored to raise my sister's son, my nephew Carter, that has non-verbal autism. He'll be 20 next year & he's my life.

I know you said you don’t like A names, but I just adore Ada for a girl 😍 Ada Louise is the combo I like the best.

It's so funny how you two are, my husband and I are kinda opposite. He has to know the baby's name the day we find out we are expecting, and always has good ideas. I always research the name after he says it for meaning. We go with scriptural names so not only do we like to chose names that have strong biblical association but also strong meaning. So far we have: Grace Trinity (yes we know the word Trinity is not in the Bible but we weren't going to name her Grace Godhead lol) Noah Aaron, Elisha David, Ruth Elizabeth and Micaiah Paul. We have Mary Abigail due at the end of September and can't wait to meet her! Good luck to you in your name search.

How funny that you want nicknames! We ruled out anything with an easy nickname. I don't really like shortened names, and if a nickname comes easily, EVERYONE uses it whether you want to or not! Also as an Erica, I never had a nickname, and I was glad!

I agree, I don't like nicknames either. I have a friend and her name is Rebecca, and everyone wanted to call her Becky and she hated that and was always having to correct people when they called her Becky.

I love names and finding out the meaning. I’ve always said I would love a job researching names and suggesting names for a family😊 I’m very traditional and love biblical names. I also like putting a name in there after a family name. I think with your last name Fox, it would sound good with names with more than one syllable. I still have names I would have loved to use! Happy naming!

I think boy names are hard - some of the cutsey names - Teddy, Sammy etc work so well in childhood but are not real appropriate for the 'boardroom'. With my middle son we had a name picked out - the minute we saw him we knew we had to decide on a different one - His name is Scott - perfect & fits him so well. That's funny 😂. I always had a formula for my kids names. Has to start with a Br, have a double letter in the middle, and an a and e somewhere in there. So we have a Brittany Rae and a Brennan Steven.

Loved this video! A family at church have a Wrenly Tate. You could also do Serenity and call her Wren. My kiddos are Gavin Ellis, Brynna (pronounced like Brenda without the d) Gabrielle and Grayson Brewer.

Such a fun video! It reminds me of when I was pregnant, and I thought my husband and I had agreed on a name for our daughter, however, my husband did not like the name, but he didn’t tell me until AFTER she was born! I was scrambling trying to come up with a name, and had a short list of names which were Charity and Bethany. My son, who was almost 7 years old at the time, came into the hospital room, and said, I want to name her SARAH. Guess what? We named her Sarah, and it fits her perfectly! I’m sure you will find the perfect name for your baby too!!

I feel your pain. I think it’s a teacher thing where we don’t want our kids to have 5 other kids in their class with their name. We didn’t know what we were having either so had to have both picked. Ended up loving Adelaide for our daughter. Something familiar and classic, plus we call her Addy.

Just an idea, instead of searching for a name that you could have a nickname for, find a name, and then make up a nickname for it. My name is Blessed Hope Keehn... I go by Hope, and people who know me pretty well call me "Hopie". It's a one syllable name, but has been changed to two syllables. Just an idea!!

I have an Elena and we call her Laynie. Her first name is spelt differently but you get the gist🥰

I have not been watching your channel for long but Love it. You have such a beautiful family. I even catch myself going back and watching the older ones. Sweetie as it was said God will let you know what name is right. I went to the hospital with one name and that was before sonograms and it was a hospital with a lot of nuns and I got the same nun each time . The first time i told her a boy the second a girl and the last a boy .
