Maybe a little off topic, but it is actually literally impossible for a human to successfully do the gallon challenge without vomiting. Something about the way the lactose interacts chemically with your stomach acid increases the pressure far beyond the level any human could handle.

I disagree with you about RMs praying in their mission language. In some of the more obscure languages it's hard to find opportunities to speak your mission language, and if you don't use it, you can lose it, so I think it's a good idea to pray in your mission language just to keep it fresh in your mind.

Eric’s comments about the temple were a bit rude here...regardless if it was meant sarcastically or as a joke! It’s the ultimate example of whites being insensitive and ignorant of the wider world! And btw yes it’s a bit unfair that almost every year Utah gets a temple when the church has existed in my country for over 30 years and we don’t have one or any where close and members who are already struggling have to spend literally tens of thousands to travel to another country to visit one! Of course it’s easy to visit the temple regularly when you have access to a temple so don’t judge others when they have to make immense sacrifices for what may be a once in a lifetime visit because temples aren’t being built outside the States...

Of COURSE we want temples all over the world and we sympathize with those who don’t have temples in their region or country. He was just explaining WHY Utah has so many temples and they continue to build temples in that state. Building temples in Utah doesn’t take away temples from anywhere else. It doesn’t work like that. So sorry you were hurt by his statement

I was a bit perturbed because I feel it's a common sentiment in lesser known regions like where I live that we're not deserving of a temple because we're not as dedicated as members in the States...we don't have access to as much resources and even our chapels aren't as grand but we're faithful and work with what we have been given.
