Berserk is currently my favorite piece of fiction. It’s a masterpiece in every way. However, the anime is not recommended. You have to read the manga to get the best experience. The anime adaptations really didn’t do it justice, especially the 2016 adaptation. The 1997 anime isn’t bad, but it only covers the Golden Age Arc and skips so much content. Same can be said about the movies, although they cut even more stuff. Really, there’s a reason Berserk is the highest rated manga on MAL, and knowing your taste, you will absolutely love it. This would also be a great introduction for you to manga since you’ve only done anime and music reactions up until now. But yeah, I can’t recommend it enough.

This isn't it. We suggested it during the stream and when he looked it up, he confirmed it wasn't this one. I saw someone else say it was probably "haha you thought you outsmarted me, but I outsmarted you outsmarting me" which I think is the actual one he is thinking of. I can remember Luke saying this quote before, and it seems to fit best with his admittedly vague description.

Detective Conan is neither the longest running nor oldest anime, even if people tend to claim so. It's the anime with the most movies. It has 26 movies. The longest running anime is Sazae-san, which is STILL running after 53 years and has 7,881 episodes. And the oldest anime in existence is technically Namakura Gatana from 1917.

Yes, please react to Detective Conan openings! It's not the longest running but I think it has the most openings, and a lot of them are just bangers! The series is quite fun in itself too ^^ Also all of Gundam openings deserve some love too, you are missing a lot of great songs!

All I remember is it was a meme that people would use the voice part over real life scenarios, usually after two people bump into each or have a fight, KSI used to watch clips of it. Now I can't find it anywhere because that's how the world works 😂

I'm so glad Kuma is a Golden Kamuy fan, or at least thinks to include it on these lists... I agree with the picks for the GK openings as well. and yes, there are 4 openings total. the first is by Man With a Mission, and I think it's actually a really good one of theirs as well... and the third opening is Grey by Fomare and is probably the weakest. though it's by no means bad... and I think the visuals are really well done in that one. it suits that part of the story well. also, if that meme you're looking for isn't "omae wa mo shindeiru" from Fist of the North Star, I don't have any clue what it could be. but forgive people if they misremembered it being from Jojos... there's a lot of overlap between those two series.

I think, today marks the one year anniversary of me requesting the openings of Aquarion, Aquarion EVOL and Aquarion Logos. 😂 But let me add Needless and Kurokami to the list^^ That way, if you don't already know them, you will also experience the "GRANRODEO" for the first time. A goated Japanese rock artist.

Can't believe you didn't react yet to Shingeki no Bahamut anime openings

Detective Conan has some great openings with bands I'm not sure are in other series. It's one of the longest too, however they do remakes of old episodes which adds to it. The movies are amazing. I'm a few hundred episodes behind but it's such a fun series with proper balance of action, drama, comedy and suspense. Most episodes feature a whodunit mystery which you can sort of figure out then the explanation features some info you wouldn't guess. There's a bit of a sci-fi element to it too.

You still need to check out Kuma's EDs of Spring. Also Blue Archive and Girls Band Cry OPs and EDs!

No, the longest running anime is Sazae-san, which has over 7000 episodes and has been airing since the 1960s. Is it "Omae wa mou shindeiru?" "Nani?!" you're looking for? If so, that's from Fist Of The North Star. I'm glad Accelerator opening is #1, as it should be.

I love how Luke's reaction to Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis's opening 1 is always like this sounds good, have I reacted to this? yet somehow never gets recommended enough to get an actual reaction. One vote here for the cause. Btw, the ranking for the longer anime seems to be more about which arc had the most emotional attachments rather than just purely which one is the best. Well, obviously it's a biased opinion too.

4:02 I don’t have a problem with the Code Geass picks but there are 5 Geass openings and I do think “Hitomi no Tsubasa” by Access is heavily underrated mostly because it only played for 2 episodes. Also I just watched all the Geass endings again and they all go really hard as well. 4:36 Its none of those not the longest-running or most episodes ever for anime. However, Conan is longer than One Piece which is plenty long. The longest-running show with the most episodes is Sazae-san though not sure if it would take the most time to watch. 16:20 I’ve noticed I think TK is a bit “polarizing” His stuff is different and stands out so people who find it appealing think its great, but there is also a large subset of people who don’t like the sound of his high notes and that subset is usually strong enough to stop his songs from taking the top spot in ratings and votes. I’m one of those in that minority for whom it has nothing to do with being “overplayed” I just straight didn’t like it from the first time I heard it.

Luke, Detective Conan is still going. There's something like 1100+ episodes, 20-30 movies, live-action movies and a live-action tv series. In the U.S. they changed the name to Case Closed which honestly confused many of us back in the day.

Attempt #2 of petitioning Luke to react to all of the Eureka Seven OPs and if possible EDs as well. Flow, Home Made Kazoku were big in anime OPs in the mid 2000s and E7 has 2 of their very best songs.

A lot of people are saying to read the Manga of Berserk but the 90s anime of Berserk is great. I have read and watched all of the anime/manga.

My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU is my favorite romance anime and it has a lot of similarities with romance anime you react so far like Bunny Girl Senpai, especially with the mc and the dialogue (they are masterpieces). You should react to the openings and watch it !

I think from the list, one of my favourite was The Ancient Magus Bride opening. There's just something about it that really works with the anime, and it sounds pretty different.

My recommendations would be - Inazuma Eleven and Inazuma Eleven GO series. The endings are pretty neat too - Kaiji. Same as above - Hajime no Ippo. Really nice ending 1 as well - A LOT of the old Hellsing OST, including the opening (okay the next ones are just my mecha and adjacent biases) - Dancougar - Tekkaman Blade - Full Metal Panic! - J-Decker - King of Braves GaoGaiGar - Getter Robo series

Yeah, most of these match what my picks would be. The Naruto ones are pretty much indisputable, though my #2 is Blue Bird. And Realize is Re Zero OP3 😆 That would be my #1 if Re Zero was in the vid. Okay, I was going to say something else, but I can't ignore the fact that OVER HALF of the people who voted on Trigun didn't vote for HT. What the hell is wrong with people's tastes?

Kekkai Sensen's openings at 10:42 you reacted to about ~2 to 4 months ago if I'm right. You probably reacted to them with their English Title though: Blood Blockade Battlefront which may be why you were confused about whether you heard it or not as you likely attribute the songs to the English name over Japanese name. Overall it's a decent anime with 2 seasons (think 24 episodes in total, 12 episodes per season).

@@GOTGames Cowboy Bebop for sure, ages ago! Black Lagoon though not that I recall. Hands down two of the best English dubbed shows, too, for that matter!

I think it does need to be acknowledged that TK is part of ling toshite sigure but his solo music is separate. This came up recently when a lot of people will complaining that ling toshite sigure didn't perform unravel at their recent concert. So I put the Psycho pass openings, which are ling toshite sigure, in a separate box from the Tokyo ghoul openings which are TK. I personally prefer ling toshite sigure over TK's solo material

I'm super happy one piece op 13 got voted for 2nd, it's absolutely my favourite of the series

So for beserk, there’s a really high quality anime release expected in 2025. Just announced this past week or so. Beserk will blow you away if you read the manga.

Berserk from the late 90s is what got me into anime, I'd def watch that. And as far as anyone is concerned its the only Berserk anime. ever.

Cant speak for the other top 3, but as a naruto fan, when op 16 (silhouette) came out, it was really big. It is a good song, but it felt epic watching naruto changing right before our eyes in the opening as he struggles to run as fast as he can. Also there was a purple beast riding a giant orange fox. It was so cool! There were a lot youtube covers that came out of the song and it felt the song was everywhere for a bit. So i think that the op 16 getting the number 1 spot for naruto makes sense

19:52 No, you're not an idiot. It's just hard to tell their voices apart. You're thinking of a Re-Zero opening by Konomi Suzuki which is called Realize, I can almost gurantee you that lmao. The ones in SAO by LisA are Adams and Crossing Field (and Everlasting if you count one of the endings). Happens a lot no worries lol. Awesom reaction fam. Sad Overlord wasn't in this list but oh well, maybe next time right? ^-^ (also: I'd recommend reading the manga of Berserk instead of watching the anime. The anime's.....yikes. Manga's way better for the experience lol)

Probably because there weren't any more books at the time. Looking back, probably shouldn't have read that. Shit is pretty gruesome and brutal. But goddamn is it a good series.

The internet ranking has showed to me how biased they are. Even on Naruto, One Piece or every other anime, they ALWAYS pick THAT famous opening that is the most sticky, the most simple and the common option. In Naruto case, Silhouette isn't even top 5 Naruto openings. Blue Bird too. In the One Piece one, just the first opening is REALLY good, the other 2 was average as f*ck but therr they are. Wtf the people that votes this shit are all NPC's and i'm not hating, is just abusive at this point.
