alter ego chorus' main voice is Karina. i feel like this album used Karina's voices in the right places from rap to vocals. alter ego, rose, outlaw, mala... they really knew what to do with an all-rounder like her. only if she had more lines because i'm sure a lot of people wanted to hear more of her

Agreed but I don’t think her lines were low bc she actually got decent lines. I think the issue was though that they were short, quick lines. As in, before you could process it she already finished her parts

Gives me a Redvelvet vibe. Just noticed how they highlighted others and gave way to Boa, Karina, Hyo, and Winter. Like Taeyeon and Wendy and Seulgi are just chilli ‘. This album is the most vocally satisfying I’ve ever listened to. The best thing SM did is to create this group. Such a dream come true for a hardcore Taeyeon and Wendy fan ❤❤❤❤

I love Rose, Alter ego, and goddess level

I loved the whole album at first listen. I love their voices and interpretation. My bias is BoA and I love that she gets to do new things on this album, rapping and singing, after all of these years she's still trying new things and I love that. I can't choose my favourite song yet, but right now Goddess Level is the one that I want to listen the most, alongside Stamp On It. And I'm happy SM did an album with this girls and gave a distinctic sound to the group. I've been listening to KPOP for 10 years and this kind of collabs aren't that common and I looove it. Also these lyrics represents the power of these women and of all women. I think they’re great songs for empowerment. I listen to Step and Diamond by f(x) for that kind of feeling and now I can add these songs. I'm so happy :D

Exactly! It was giving me so much early 2000s girl band vibes with the whole R&B piano meets hip hop production plus the diva vocals from literally everuone

Mala became one of my favorites because they used Spanish words (mala=bad girl and mañana=tomorrow) and yes, it's very cool and sweet and it's good to end the mini album. Rose and Outlaw are...well, I don't know how to describe my emotions...it was like you took a train to Hades and black energy suck your energy with an aggressive tornado, then they spit to the world again...just be a nothing and then, Mala take your parts and get together everything. Something like that, don't get me wrong...they are good tracks but...WOW.

I only have one thing to say: That was iconic!

The girls came back strong!! Alter ego and Goddess Level are my favorites and I also love the title track. There was a lot of experimenting with the production and sometimes it was really busy like on Rose, but let's see if it grows on me. Also, Sir Austinnn, have you seen the videos of Kyungsoo's birthday party? He finally sang Rose live and a lot of other songs (or parts of songs) ❤️

outlaw drop shocked me so much, i loved this song a lot, i’m into aggressive and intense songs and this song is just for me. mala x4 chanting is so good i also loved this song and omg karina’s rap in the bridge. like honestly i loved all of the songs on the album, rose as a sexy complex r&b masterpiece, alter ego with a hero chorus, goddess level with a crazy vocal run from king taeyeon, all of these bsides are so great and their instrumental sound so expensive, got the beat already kinda found their signature sound! also loved the lyrics to most of the songs, thank god no misogyny 😇

I don't know how to rank Stamp On It because I'm all excited about the bsides since I heard Stamp On It first, so I'll leave it to the side for now. But for me it's sort of like this - 1. Goddess Level / Rose (depends on my vibe but I think Goddess Level might be winning at the moment) 2. Alter Ego 3. Outlaw 4. Mala But... idk. TBH they all keep shuffling in my head like I think Alter Ego was last on first listen and it would have been Outlaw, Mala, Alter Ego, but Alter Ego is rising a bit and after watching your video I feel like Mala being last is wrong it might be ahead of Outlaw. Not loving stamp on it yet… I think they all sound and look incredible… but just I hate when a song finishes and I don’t remember anything about it in particular.
