Idols are allowed to maintain friendships with another groups, even if they are not in the same company. THE ISSUE comes when the idols image is at stage, for example BLACKPINK is not allowed to appear at another's company videos or pictures because their faces are literally trademarked (the most common example is lisa in clc's sorn vlog). But actually the big 3 girl groups, red velvet, twice & blackpink are all friends with each other, some even really close like yeri and nayeon, jennie and irene, rosé and joy, jisoo, jennie and nayeon and so on. Fans even call yeri and sana "the idols collectors" because they are friends with half of the kpop industry 🤠

Also only idols really know what idols in general go through in the industry and as such it's almost like it wouldn't even make sense to be in competition with each other, they are on the same side and there's a sense of comradery that is maybe one of the saving graces while you are active. I perfectly understand how someone would think there would be a sense of rivalry when the most evident side of Kpop one can experience is fandoms but it's important to distinguish fan wars, and truly pitiful behaviours from a few, from reality.

Also redvelvet are friends with blackpink twice and mamamoo.. Considered as their rival groups.. But they are really good friends

When they said they raised Yeri, it was literally true at least in some part. Irene would iron Yeri's uniform every day and I'm not sure if she also cook breakfast for Yeri every day when she was in school. The members would do a lot of things to help Yeri feel like she's still a normal kid. They're honestly sweethearts. A lot of SM artist has stories like these actually. The older members helping out the younger members and practically raising them. Sehun was babied (still is) by his hyungs and would constantly feed him while he was younger. Taemin would be escorted to his class by his members when he debuted and was attending high school to prevent him getting bullied. There's a lot more stories like that. I think that's one of SM artist strong points. They make sure that the members of their groups create a strong bond by letting them rely on each other. They really create a family instead of just being members of a group, if that makes sense. That's why most of their groups last a long time and even if they disband or members leave their company, they still gather or meet.

I feel the same with a lot of guides, but this one was actually not too bad because they included clips from their b-sides which were good, but that last clip they used of "Last Love" was disappointing because the audio was terrible, and there's definitely a lot of clips they could have used instead😒

Yep ! It feels like it was very 'Rushed' in comparison to the other Main positions in explanation. The really special thing about RV is that SM picked 5 girls who all have really distinct and disparate vocal tones. When they sing together, and especially when they harmonize, they sound like a whole choir. Korean Netizens recently voted RV as the group with the overall best discography in Kpop.
