I always love your reaction to DPR Ian, because it's so detailed and you're really try to understand the lore, so thank you for the video. It is an introduction to a hybrid character between MITO and Insanity. He said that he will not reveal the name of the character because this character is the scariest and dangerous thing he's ever seen in his life, and he's afraid by revealing the name of this hybrid character will give that character more power in real life (but he once said that he doesn't know if he's gonna bring this character to the lore, but he did, so who knows 😅). Since you also interested in what happened in reality, i think i'll try to leave here what i picked up from watching his IG lives and interview. I think you're right about mr insanity taking over from this character, because he once said that the REAL REAL mr insanity, only take over when it's a life or death situation, and this only happened 3 times in his life (i hope it happens no more). He thinks this character is so powerful, because even MITO, the protector, could not come out and save him (or them) from this character. The keys in his MVs unlocks the doors to memories/traumas, and MITO holding this one key that mr. Insanity try to steal. Ian said that MITO gave him a warning to not open the door. He would switch suddenly everytime he tries to open the door, and MITO would "punish" him for it. Seeing the hybrid also have the key, maybe he also have access to the door. Ian said that the hybrid is stuck in the LIMBO, that's where he was born and the only place he will stay. So i think the goal is to contain him there and not let him out.

I am so happy you reacted to this! Love your reactions always! Here is a littIe explanation: Ian stated that he is the "Hybrid" of MITO and Mr. Insanity. He said that this is when he is between the most insane parts of Mr. Insanity and the darkest parts of MITO when he switches. Since this character is new to his storyline, not that much has been revealed, but fans speculate that the blue eyes seen in this MV are a sign that it is the Hybrid.. It is like the ending arc of Mr. Insanity as we go into a new year and new era of Ian's music. He said on a live that this year he will be focusing on putting out more music that is "him" not MITO or Mr. Insanity. Also, idk if you checked it out in your free time, but Ian released a demo song "Skins" a little bit ago that he didn't really promote that much. It is an absolutely beautiful and dark song that was written by MITO and recorded by him. Ian said himself that he didn't really remember making the song, but when he got out of that state he just decided to release it as it was and not change it. He says that Skins is the most real representation of what MITO is in his life and it is honestly worth a reaction it is so good, even though it is short. MITO even found a friend in DPR to help and filmed the MV and everything.

The one who is shirtless is "The Hybrid" (A new alter, also the song is not just based on his bipolar but also his DID) and Ian said that he won't tell us his name because it hits close to home so he got him a surname. And yes if we go in the medical stuff Mito is considered the protector of his consciousness he comes to the front when Ian is not in a good shape or when Insanity goes too far and the funny thing is that It's the same in the storyline Mito will come when Insanity want to open the doors in christian mind but Mito knows that there is a lot of trauma that don't need to be remember by Ian so he stop him and that's probably why in real life Mito and Insanity don't really like each other...

DPR IAN explained that this is a new character and yes it is THE HYBRID. The place between insanity and sane, heaven and hell.....LIMBO. ,

Hey there! Me again! 1) As someone who works in professional theatre: YES. A DPR Ian musical would be FANTASTIC. 2) I’m a broken record at this point, but thank you for being the most respectful, nuanced reactor to DPR Ian’s work regarding his bipolar disorder. This time, I especially loved how you stressed that there’s a spectrum of severity. I’m sure I said this before, but it’s so misunderstood. Because he is just one example of a person with Bipolar (plus DID, which definitely muddies the waters a TON) it’s easy for people to assume that’s what it’s like for everybody. So, once again, thank you for using your platform to help educate people in that way! You’re the best, seriously! I love your reactions. (Especially your admiration of Taemin!)

Maybe the papers are related to Christian... as he appears in the beginning of "Don't go insane" MV writing down and the wall is full of papers as if he was taking notes about himself and organozing his thoughts So it's scary to think if the hybrid is destroying it...

By the way, he just mentioned in his last ig live that they are gonna be making a movie. A full length movie. Unfortunately he also said that it will only be shown in a few cities.

dpr ian is a genius like WHAT

My first take: I took the dark figures to be his darker thoughts and memories. Similar to how the green and pink figures seem to represent his emotions. Mito seems to channel and order the dark thoughts but it leaves Ian devoid of color and energy. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. So even though he know the alternative is chaos he can't help surrender to what becomes Mr. Insanity. Mr. Insanity causes the dark thoughts to cower in a corner while he revels in his moment.

From what I've seen of DPR IAN's Miito arc indicates he was created to guide Ian's good acts but had become the tyrant of the "Good," creating self hatred of anything that is not to Miito's standards.

I haven't watched too many reaction videos, but has anyone else noticed the hanging man imagery (around 1:16 in this video)? the second person from the left very clearly bounces, too. gave me the chills.

The melody kinda sounds like one of those haunting lullabies...

I wish I could explain my thoughts as well as you do, or even think as fast 😅 This song really is the most powerful and painful one from IAN, and it's just a small glimpse of what he goes through while in the mixed state of his bipolar disorder. He is an artist unlike any other, and he WILL go down in history ❤️‍🔥

The most relatable song from Ian for me. All those papers remind of the days when I would be at my lowest point with depression, I would write. It was mostly questions to ask myself, or the story of my probable demise, quotes, lyrics, or the many books I read to try to understand everything. I’m so glad that people can find such a great creative outlet these days (I grew up in the beforetimes with no internet, and the library was the only place I could go to be alone). I always look forward to your breakdown of a DPR Ian MV.

OK, so the "when did heaadhunters make a comeback" had me laughing for a while. but the break down of the musical video and how you said the beat ramp up could represent a change in mood is such a good observation
