There's actually alternative stories to Re:Zero that the creator made, in one of them he actually does still have the blessing/curse of Satella (I forget what the name of it is) but he accepted the offer that Echidna gave him and uses Return by Death for everything, literally everything. Petra asked if he thought it was gonna rain and he went through the day and after it was over he asked someone to kill him just to tell her that it wasn't gonna rain

Haven't read gluttony yet so I can't speak on him I imagine it'd be them discussing their regrets and giving our subaru advice along with giving jabs to each other. I imagine pride would probably be most at peace and the wisest of all the ifs along with having the most relentless faith in our subaru. Our subaru would see him as a renegade and particularly look up to him the most. He'd have the allure of a hot blooded gangster that put fate in his own hands, getting the ending he wanted so he'd look down on others like wrath and greed. Greed would be an empty husk and apathetic. He'd be indifferent to this entire conversation since hed find it utterly pointless until one of them manage to trigger him to release some of that boiling resentment. He'd be what our subaru most fears to be and pities. It'd also cause him to hate echidna and leave him unsettled with how close he was to greed's fate. I doubt wrath would be very sociable either. Chances are he wouldn't see most of them in colour and he'd be very cynical and paranoid. He might warm up to our subaru but he'd probably rub greed the wrong way and get mocked by pride, written off as an edge lord and a spoiled brat compared to what theyve been through.

Sloth and lust would be a breath of fresh air to subaru and would be the ones to lighten the mood whilst not being able to give too much input to assuage the darker tones of the conversation. They'd probably also get mocked and have their difficulties laughed at as write offs.

I completed S2 Re zero in 2021. What should I start reading now? Update: I am currently reading arc-7 and i tell you that this short was the reason i started reading re zero. This novel has the biggest impact on my life, not even the closest people to me change my life this much as this novel is doing. I can't understand how anyone can make this good of a story to the point where I wish to live in that story. Re:zero >>>>>> every other show i have ever watched or a novel i have ever read. Also how did I get connected to Rem so much. It's quite interesting to think about how fictional characters can have actual impact on your psychological and emotional make-up. This novel really has a lot of depth, especially the characters have the aura that they are "actual living people". The author did an incredible job. I just hope the story keeps the same pace as the story progresses into Arc 8.

BTW the re zero school if is considered the vainglory if but like lust if does not have the same quality of writing as the other if stories. These 2 are considered more like fanservice alternate story line that don't have a point in time where they diverge from the envy route. As for lust if it was written in one sitting so these are just some of the reasons the Fandom and the author don't really consider an if route.

Biggest Spoiler for season 2. Don't read if you have not watched season 2. He can't because .... ... roswaal has a book which give him orders. The orders are given such that he has to save emilia otherwise elsa will kill subaru. Also, it was written in his book to hire elsa to steal emilia insignia. If subaru didn't save emilia. Then book will order roswaal to kill subaru.
