Actually it was the fact that Subaru was so afraid of her he was mentally blocking out her face (think of A Silent Voice) and it wasn't until the very end that he actually 'looked' at her in the WN I think (I could he wrong tho)

He was mentally overwhelmed by the fact Satella sounded so similar to Emilia, spoke with a kindness so similar to Emilia, and he didn't want to accept the truth that she looked just like her too

Subaru's return by death being meant to not just save others, but to save himself is weirdly touching as a gift from a half dead woman who would tear the hearts out of anybody who learns of it.

Well, *Spoiler* none of the witches here know about the Archbishops, only echidna would thanks to her book any emilias memories. And the witch factor turns into a personalized power depending on the person......for example the Greed factor in echidna gave her the book of knowledge, while for Regulus it made him almost invulnerable to attacks from what the anime has shown

When satella confessed to subaru he rejected her by saying he doesn't understand her, that he doesn't know anything about what she was saying. This reminded me of when rem tortured subaru and how rem reacted when subaru told her about how it went in the past loops of arc 2.

At this point in the LN we don't know much about Satella, all we know is that she killed most of the witches and absorbed their abilities, that it required the most power people in the world to seal her as they were unable to kill her.

She didn't kill them. But people blame her because...you know, everyone hates and fear her. Typhoon drowned in a trap, Minerva has been captured and end up dying, Daphne starved to death in a Desert, Sekmet died fighting a dragon and Carmilla i don't remember exactly.

The best thing he could do is give up seriously, like u keep dying u have no powers but 2 respawn and the fact is they don’t won’t u 2 die when u have suffered so much death and revival that ur mentally insane then they ask u 2 not give up after u have been mentally broken over 10 times, on top of that u don’t owe anyone anything even ur friends because one it’s all fake u shouldn’t even be friends with them because u would actually die if u tried to be friends with them, and ur power is like a forced win no matter what since u don’t die but force so many realities, but u feel the pain in every one and u lose ur friends in every one they die in then they come back, the fact is it’s not true friendship because he will never truly be accepted for who he is, and now he has no actual personality beside wanting to save them why so he doesn’t die or so that he gets to the end and can finally die,

I don't know why but Satella (apart of that time when she appeared irl) was such a disappointment. Every line she said was just meaningless gibberish. Every time it goes like this: Subaru asks what tf she wants from him or why did she returning him and she'll go like " you must love yourself more"...??? Bitch what are you talking about? She gave zero viable info. I swear, we know more about any other witch in the series by this point but not the main one.
