Sad. Funny. Warming. Moving. Touching. Enlightening. An emotional rollercoaster ride. There were two moments when you realise that Wendy had reached a stage in life where she herself realised she was beginning to face her own mortality. Her admission of no longer feeling sexy demonstrated that she knew her star was waning and she couldn't make up for lost time any more. There was a slight hint of a look of resignation at that point and it was as though she felt akin to an over-ripened fruit - no longer fit for consumption. Then, at the end, as she admits to "already missing" Russell, the slight quiver in her voice shows she acknowledges the journey has come to an end and that, in all likelihood, that was the last time she would feel that rush of excitement one gets when young and vibrant with a full life ahead to live. Lesson learned? You're born; You live; You die; You're gone. And it sucks not being able to do anything about that.

She's a vibrant woman. Who's to say those sexy days are done. If you are open to new experiences new experiences will find you. Don't give up on Wendy. She will find intimacy again in her own way. I really hope she did. Whatever intimacy she craves I hope she found.
@aboemusic

BeakerInShortShorts Sounds to me like you got the wrong end of the stick, so to speak. I was commenting on what I thought I saw her to be experiencing - "it was as though she felt...", and "the slight quiver in her voice shows she acknowledges...". She is a vibrant woman, you're right. I also hope that she, and others like her, find what it is they are looking for. But life allots us only a certain amount of time... The mind may be willing but there comes a time when the body can no longer follow. My comments were an observation of what I saw to be that moment being experienced through Wendy, generally. It's nice that you haven't given up on her, but hope can only do so much. Reality soon sets in and it's cruel, which was another of my points - we don't like it but that is the way it is.

When did the old lady pass?
Wendy is the cutest
Amazin how different he was here, druggy russell lol.
I think it's interesting how he goes into the episode with some preconceived idea of what he will do, then comes to some humanistic realisation. It's like the first series of Big Brother where people are more interesting left to their own devices.

You seem to think Brand is an honest person and not just at this time trying anything to become famous.
uh oh i must be on the wierd part of youtube again time for bed
He has to be the most fascinating person on the planet. I pray the allegetions arent true but the naked evidence thus far doesnt look too good.
I dont swing that way but i think russell looks more hansome now than then
or a tragic early.. removal from the media.
Friendzoned.
Just shows what a big act he’s put on all these years

why do people insist on this idea that aging is inevitable. Then what the fuck is the point of medicine?

Ashton Grist Are you dumb? People insist that aging is inevitable because it is. The point of medicine is to cure us from being ill?
