Good stuff brother, well the plan started out cool, ended up in a pile down by the riverside lol, good stuff man, the blast is a fun boat !!! I've been looking for a trailer myself, another cool combo crawler trailer is the axial can am is pretty good for towing around 😉

The prop acts like a wheel in the water. It does not only have a force in the direction of the motor axle, but also sideways. The prop has more friction on the bottom part and acts like a wheel pushing the stern sideways. This is most noticeable when going backwards.

Good question. There are a few main reasons; usually on RC boats, the rudder is offset, so it’s not right in the middle of the boat. Sometimes that’s on purpose, as you’re usually racing on an oval course around bouys.

I order a traxxas spartan and literally can not stop watching rc boat videos and its coming Monday in the mail and i have a pond right out my back door with 4or 5 pound bass and bluegill and red ear sunfish and mud catfish I'm going to get on of the fishing pole things and catch some fish with my traxxas spartan I really really hated watching that trailer break in half

Nice! I love my Spartan, it’s crazy fast, but make sure you have a recovery plan! I’d like to print a bigger version of this trailer to fit the Spartan.

Haha the blasts are soo bad lol. My neighbor has one. Its so slow amd Smoked that 20t motor right out the gate lol. Tried to go brushless and the boat is just not ment for those speeds

You’re right, but my nieces will LOVE it. Haha. If they run it into the dock or run it aground, no big deal. They can have a blast while I run the bigger/ faster boats.

For decoration it’s awesome. If you’re a tinkerer, you could build it to be a bit more robust, and you can always bump-up the size to fit the bigger boat better.
