I am thinking about hard shell now, and
I've used aftermarket chinesium AR60 axles on basically a stretched SCX10 under a 1/6 FG Ford F150 lexan shell. Powered by Hobbywing SC8 esc and huge 6 pole brushless 1/8 motor. Regrettably sold it but was best RC I had. Bashed, Crawled, as it was so very heavy just went over or through anything that got in its way. Turns out built a 6th scale rock bouncer! 😁👌
I've got a similar injora Cherokee, but it's set up as a trail truck with 4.5t brushless. Not the best crawler in my fleet but it sure loves sand, mud, and snow lol
