Lol, I don’t think they’re bad if you need wheels. But you can do much better.

I got a pair 2 months ago ( first brand new pair of skates in over 10 years ) and randomly the left shell crack all across the toe area , still waiting on a warranty replacement . I "was" hands down going the buy the Henderson skate, But now with my first SL boot ever breaking within a very short time with no real wear ( 12 days ) , And also waiting over a month for a replacement,( still waiting as of today) razors might not be my future purchase. Being a long time razor rider right from super flat days till now, riding everything from the supers, cults , gen.s multiple boots . i did enjoy the short amount of time with my SL's and if and when I get a replacement I may change my view. they were very light weight ,"felt" solid , liners are alright , slid good - i did have one thought about a placement of a screw in the plates i feel like might start grinding before the plates done , no real complaints in that way but the break and replacement the wait time is killer (in the mean time i fixed my my OG Brian Aragon Gen's and they work just fine :-)

Sorry to hear that. I haven’t had any issues with mine but I know defects happen. I’d give them another call if you haven’t lately. I’m sure it’s not deliberate

It’s the same boot, just an upgraded liner. I think they’re a bit too pricey for what you get.

I love my SL Navys! Definitely a good idea to swap out the stock wheels.

I love the way the boot looks but im definitely not ready for aggressive skating is it possible to just use the boot and change the bottom??

@@orlandoespinoza8623 These skates are 100% aggressive but Razors does make The Shift models that are just for what you are looking for. The shift models use a multi purpose boot that does aggressive, freestyle, urban and even ice with literally the snap of the base soul plate. You can install and change frames quickly and easily. Check em out.

@@Op614Roll I think these so-called "powerblades" kinda give you the worst of all worlds... Not gonna lie. IMO, both those and the big wheel USD Aeons just don't feel particularly good as a freeskate and ALSO don't feel particularly good as an aggressive skate. They feel gimped at everything so they CAN do everything. Unless you HAVE to blade long distances to the skatepark and can't carry another pair, you should just get two pairs of skates. Just my 2¢ anyways. 🤷‍♂️

What wheels would you recommend as replacements ?

Did you end up digging these more than the shifts? The reign liners made all of the difference in the world.

Have you tried not using the heel pad? If so, do you still feel as if you’re leaning forward?

Have anyone tried both SLs and Shifts 2? How they compare? SLs look like having a taller front of the boot. My Problem with the shifts 2 and reign v2 in then is the pressure on top of my foot. Great video and great review! Thank you!

SLs are roomier for sure. You can also push out the top of the toe box on the Shifts if you heat it up with a heat gun.

Boni Hollóssy I kind of solved it with fatboy liners, as their tongue is not that stiff. But thanks for your answer, good to know for the future. I will be able to get SLs one size smaller then than shifts

Взял себе Shift KG. Мне тоже давило на верх стопы. Нагрел строительным феном и отогнул повыше шелл в области шнуровки. Это решило проблему. А так да, они маломерят.

great review... remember the salmons wide body soulplate add ons?? they were hands down the ultimate royal cheater mode haha but razors are the next easiest thing for sure :)

The Hendersons are the most recent model, but might be out of stock with Covid boom

Every time I see it I say "corn" out loud

0:12 $220 US? Lol, I wish. Razors SL's are $260 now and have been for a while. I've also heard the liners are pretty trash, so while normally a 10-10.5 I went with a 9.5 just to get the 8-9 size shell. If the liner is too small I'll just replace it.

What wheels would you swap these out with?

Literally anything would be better. I’m partial to 50/50 but Undercover or RedEye are great too.

What kind of wheels will you suggest?

For me, I prefer a round wheel like the 60mm undercover or 50/50 brands. Wheels are a personal preference though so you have to try a few different ones to see what you like. Maybe give a skate shop a call and ask, they usually have lots of suggestions

Do these feel/skate at all like Genesys?
