I was wondering what the battery life is like is it short because of the OLED screen?

Thinking about returning mine to get the razer blade stealth with 11th Gen Intel. Reason is.. I want something a little more portable and quieter when doing day to day things and type c charging would be a little more convenient. Is the difference in fan noise that noticeable ?

Mine is a late 2019 model of Blade Stealth 13, so I don't know if the latest 11 Gen model will be much different, but mine is much cooler and quieter than the Blade 15 Base. I tried an early 2020 Stealth 13 a few months ago, it has the same 10 gen CPU but a bit higher wattage (25W), and it felt just a bit warmer than my 15W unit, but the fan noise and behavior was about the same. I assume the 11 Gen would be very similar, meaning better than the Blade 15 Base.

I put my maximum processor state on battery to be 99% and literally do not have the fans come on at all anymore doing regular day tasks, id suggest trying it out, you dont really need turbo boost when unplugged anyway

Very helpful review! Razer book 13 also seems to have bad speakers, in addition to flawed keyboard. Would be a great laptop, if they fix that in later revisions

How ist the battery life oft this laptop?

I have been thinking about the Base for a while but it really bothers me how cut down it appears to be. The Advanced model appears to run cooler and quieter and has a 20% larger battery in a smaller package. I've had this exact model in my Amazon cart for like a week but haven't been able to convince myself its worth it. Not quite good enough to replace my desktop and not quite portable enough to be the supplemental laptop. That said, I also don't know if I can stomach paying the premium the Advanced demands either.

I'm in the same position! Still thinking whether to get the 2020 advanced model or asus g15 instead. Did you finally decided to buy it yet?

@@maple00123 Decided on a Stealth (open box) for about $1200. Immediately had hardware issues that would have taken a month or so in turn around time to have Razer deal with. Returned.

I was thinking to get razer blade 15 FHD 144hrz with rtx 2070qmax wich is pretty pricey at 1400britiah pound its 2k $ .... not sure if its worth it.....

Nicely covered all the issues with this device. Recently even i got the same laptop from Best Buy for a good open box price (less than yours). But i cant get over the battery life issue (i get around 4-5 hours after disabling turbo boost). Also i am not sure if this product is a display model because when i tried to look for the warranty info on Razer site for it's serial number, it showed me no info & only a messsage saying that cannot purchase additional warranty. My primary use is going to be coding/web surfing/ youtube / and mild gaming. What do you suggest, should i return?

Sorry for being so late to reply. It's very possible that it was a display model, but like I said, it's not nesasary a bad thing, as long as it works as expected. Did you end up keeping it?

I like the black gloss on the 4k models

I change from MBP 16 2019 to razer blade pro 17 2019 and the sound was so bad that make me to get rid of razer as well....

I gave up on buying gaming laptops. I just bought the M1 Macbook Air, and it is amazing for everything other than gaming. For gaming, I have a PS5 and a PC. I just wanted something thin, light with premium build quality, incredible battery life, amazing speakers, cold and quiet (no fan), a bright screen that is just easy to carry around.

can i ask you is the ps5 and mouse as good as a good pc and mouse how is the overall system and function on the ps5 compared to the 4 based on your gameplay experience

Well it's not about wrong or right, it's about what works for you. I don't claim that the product is terrible, I just decided it wasn't for me, that's all. I still love Razer laptops overall, now considering the new 14 inch Blade.
