Raw Shrimp Marinated in Soy Sauce
Thai Hom Mali Rice
White Shrimp 700 grams
Salt 3 tablespoon(s)
Chilled Soda 1 bottle
Onion 1 bulb
Ginger 25 grams
Sugar 5-6 tablespoon(s)
Shoyu 200 grams
Mirin 1 tablespoon(s)
Grated Red Apple 1 tablespoon(s)
1. Soak white shrimps with chilled soda and salt. Set for 15 minutes. Then rinse well.
2. Bring water to a boil, add onion, ginger, sugar, shoyu, mirin and grated red apple. Simmer over low heat until onion is half-cooked.
3. Strain for liquid only. Store the sauce in refrigerator until chilled.
4. Pour over white shrimps. Sprinkle with sliced Thai hot pepper and garlic. Seal with plastic wrap.
5. Chill in refrigerator at least 3 hours.
