CHIA JAM:
Chia seed jam is super quick and easy to make. It’s raw, thickened with chia seeds, and doesn’t rely on pectin or a ton of sugar to set. Not only is it vegan and paleo (as most regular jams are) but it’s also raw, sugar-free, keto friendly.
JAM FROM DRIED FRUIT
This raw jam is not only easy and quick (possibly the quickest jam you’ve ever made), but it has also very deep and intense flavor you’ve probably never tasted before. And yes, you can use it just like regular jam - smear it on crepes, use it as a topping for pancakes, make PB&J sandwich with it, add it to smoothies or dressings, or just eat it with a spoon.

This looks so yummy I can't wait to try this on some bread!!
BEAUTIFUL. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!! Thank you so kindly for your great skill. Thx for showing the finish look of jam with the chia seed ground On vacation now to the kitchen to make Jam out of the frozen berries in the freezer. Love and appreciation to u.
Why watching this recipe is so relaxing? :D
You might want to try a jam collander. It's super simple to use, requires no electricity and you can remove the seeds without getting rid of all the delicious pulp. :-) If you get one, make sure the pointed wood pestle is with it. It was originally sold with the pestle and you need it to to the job right.
Awesome! And we've got lots of raspberries this year!!
Hi Petra, what is the sweetener you used? Just monk fruit or a mix with erythritol? Thank you for the recipe!
Hi there thank you so much for your lovely videos 🤗🌺 I have a simple request. I need to know the measurements for this recipe I like to make the apricot jam and I'm going to do a strawberry as well thank you Mrs Williams 💫
Great recipes thank you for sharing! Would you happen to have a raw orange peel jam recipe?
WOW ☝️such Simple recipe 🌺Thank you💗so much...please do many other Fruits too ...😊
I absolutely utterly love all your recipes💚👍 , including this one... That chia geling idea is killerrr!!!💚👌👍.. Can't wait to try the seed jam.
I love your husband suggestion to use the raspberry as a popsicle. I love your channel and your content make eating healthy easy. Thanks
Hi, Petra, This technique for fruit jam recip is quite surpising, since I'm used to spend a lot of time stirring a pan of strawberries at the stove until it gets thick. If I really like some recipe that's traditionally sugary, I give it a try reducing it as much as possible but commited to preserve the texture, colour, flavours and so, and I've been having quite good results specially with the strawberry jam with 10:1 ratio (strawberry : coconut or brown sugar). In your recipe, I realise the chia seeds absorb the excessive water mimicking the reduction of the cooking version, but I'm afraid there is any chia after taste, because yeah I know they are much better than flax seeds when it comes to flavour, still they have sort of a divergent taste though. Something I wouldn't appreciate, even because these berries are ridiculously expensive here in Brazil and it would be an unpleasant experience if the outcome doesn't match the expectations. Thanks.
Can I do this technique with apple?
How long do they last? Freezable?
SPACE JAM!
hi, nice recipe :) can i use strawberry instead of blackberry/raspberry?
Raw Jams & Preserves?!! Lady you're on a winner's streak! This is so COOL, Raspberries are my favorite berry, but all 3 are worth trying and raspberry jam being a bit runny,...hmm...maybe leave the seeds in and keep it chunky like ya did with the blackberry jam? Thank you for sharing, ✌and love these jams where you taste the fruit and not the sugar, 👋from Mexico to you pretty lady and to the Judge as well! 😃
Hi!💖 •How long does it last in the fridge? •How can I store it for a longer than 4 days? •Can it be frozen?

Thank you! All the instructions are on my blog (in the recipe box), so I'll just copy and paste it here "Store in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. For long term storage, freeze for up to 3 months."
How long with it last since it isn’t boiled and has lemon/ lime juice?
Awesome recipes👍, do u also have the ketosert channel? Very similar.
Has anyone frozen the blackberry jam? Did it change the consistency and taste?
Since you aren't adding any preservatives how long do they last in the refrigerator?

I always wanted a raw jam recipe like this which didn't require heat to destroy all the vitamins finally this recipe it's so clever to use chia as a coagulant !! How come I never thought of it 🙂
As another raw sweetener, could you use maple syrup, agave or honey? Would they work in the mixture or damage the consistency do you think?
@typower9
11 ай бұрын
For the blackberry one I would add raw apple puree after adding a good amount of lemon to the puree. Or add stewed apple. In both cases using v sweet apples if course since they will only be part of the composition. Then I think it should taste like blackberry and apple pie filling. I would not like to add honey since I think it would overpower the flavour of the blackberries; the same with maple syrup.
How long does it last after jarred? Also which sweetener did you use? Thank you in advance

Don't know about the sweetener...but to talk about its shelf life, "You can store it in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.For long term storage freeze for up to 3 months." She's given this as a reply to one of the comments....
simple and great! Love your video :) How long can I store the jam? and how to sanitize the glass container before using it? I heard that if the container is not sanitized properly, the jam can grow "mushroom" easily

Hi Jin - all the instructions are in the recipe box (on my blog), so I'm gonna just copy and paste it here: "store in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. For long term storage, freeze for up to 3 months." Since the jam is stored in the refrigerator (or the freezer), you don't necessarily need to sanitize the jars. However, if you have the time, it doesn't hurt :)

hi gout sufferer here, can I leave out sweetners?
I never thought to make ground chia seeds! Do you think that would create a chocolate mousse better than using whole chia seeds?
@danakarloz5845

Amany Suleiman I just made a chocolate pudding with chia seeds ground up! Yummy 🤤
@NutritionRefined
4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say "better" but the texture will be different. Ground chia seeds are less noticeable. If a recipe calls for whole chia seeds, make sure you measure whole chia seeds and then grind. (Ground chia seeds have larger volume than whole chia seeds).
If you were to make banana bread, what sweetener would you put in it instead of white granulated sugar?
@NutritionRefined
4 жыл бұрын
Hmm, that really depends on the overall recipe. If the recipe calls for white sugar, I would probably use granulated monk fruit sweetener.

Nutrition refined, thank you for your reply. I’ll try it. Hopefully I can find the different types of monk fruit in powder and granulated. If I can’t find it in my local stores, I’ll check amazon. I really like your videos!!! Thank you again!! 😊 I always look forward to seeing your videos.
شكرا احبك👌👍💚
You are so good at everything you make. Where do get powdered monk fruit?
@juliahardy1
4 жыл бұрын
Tandem Bicycle Lakanto makes a powdered monkfruit or you could buy any brand of granulated monkfruit and run it through a blender/food processor/coffee grinder to make a powder. It melts better than granulated.

Your method of making jams is SO EASY, other recipes require you cook the jam on the stove. And after watching your videos..I think its unnecessary! Curious to know if I can use frozen berries, thaw the berries before making the jam.
Depending how old your daughter is maybe get her involved so she can do the work if she doesn’t like seeds she’ll appreciate what you do 💋
❤️👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
What??? To me jam means "preserve" but there is no mention of anything like that in this tutorial. Are you trying to tell me that these so called jam (fresh fruit paste) will last in my pantry for a year like "jam" does? Maybe in my freezer, but than it is not a jam. Please clarify?
To all those who've asked or want to ask... "You can store it in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.For long term storage freeze for up to 3 months." She's given this as a reply to one of the comments....
Those Recipes with Chia seeds turned out horrible all my ingredients went to the trash🥺. Thanks!!!
😎💕✌️❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
They are not jams, is all soluble
this is not a jam, it's a fruit purée.
All is cool except the video toooo long
So you children don't eat chocolates
Oh, l don't like seeds in my jam, I don't eat anything brown, l'm a spoiled brat
Saying this out of concern. You look ill friend. Deep dark circles and the volume in your face is greatly diminished. Even compared to your videos just a few years ago the light in your eyes is gone. I hope you are well and if you're dealing with something it will resolve soon. Again, this is not being critical but pointing out of concern.
