PLEASE be careful with Braum seats. They are known to be rebranded Chinese generic seats that collapse in minor fender benders. They may look and feel nice but MANY people who have installed those seats have had experience with them snapping and folding all the way back (on facebook go to any mustang/camaro/whatever car forum and search for the horror stories). AFAIK they are not safety rated at all, and if you can PLEASE return those seats for a brand well known and SFI rated like Corbeau or Sparco. They're affordable, they have good looking seats, but most importantly they're safe!! Good luck on the build otherwise it's turning out great and I'm looking forward to more updates!

For the outside.... fine grit sanded top to bottom to take off a little surface rust and then a flat clear coat... Takes the pressure off to get a perfect paint job or even get a crap paint job, and keeps the classic car look without worrying about additional rust issues. God Bless.

The brutally guttural growl from that beast when you lit it off sounded incredible. You should seriously consider installing cutouts. Let that monster roar!!

Dylan, that’s really coming along great. I highly recommend you take full advantage of the return line provision on the sending unit. The best thing I ever did was install a return line on my Chevelle-no more percolating fuel at carburetor after shut-down due to a hot engine and today’s modern fuel. The constant cycling of fuel means the fuel will be running cooler and less chance of vapor lock and all the other fun things that can happen. Also buy yourself some non-sticky, correct, wiring harness tape. Covering and bundling the new wires will make it look much neater and much more stock.

to eliminate unwanted wires under the hood, put in an HEI ignition system. you can get them on E Bay for about $150.00. easy to install. eliminates electronic ignition box and ballast resistor. i did this on my 76 ramcharger.

Dylan, if you don't have the time to replace the floor pan then wait until you have the time. Don't spend a lot of time on new seats, cables and so on. A rotten floor makes a bad impression. The floor is also an important piece of safety.

Dylan, the car looks great! With all of the new parts, and all of the work you've done! I get the "ratty" look, but after the power tour it would be awesome if you finished the resto mod theme with fixing the interior, and actually painting the car. Personally, I think it would be an outstanding classic Charger...

Hi Dylan. Your car is coming along well and it's all looking very very good. I wish I could buy a new fuel tank for my project car, 1961 Humber Hawk Series II. But they aren't available anymore as far as I have found. I am looking to find something of similar shape and capacity to adapt. I have been enjoying your channel and following your project. I noticed the coating you used for the trunk floor. I have been using paint for farm tractors supplied by John Deere stores to coat parts of my car like the front suspension cross member. I have found it to be quite durable
