    Yes there is space between the shroud and radiator fins! I would not have mounted it this way if the gap was closed.

    wasn't easier put just the fans directly on radiator w/o shroud? there are some radiator fan zip ties for that purpose.

    #1 on the dizzy is usually around the 4 o' clock position, pointing towards the alternator (when it's in the stock position :)). But really you can put it anywhere you want depending on how you index the oil pump drive gear.

    Good job and of course building a driver is the name of the game. As we all know , the body panels are massive and really pop with a darker gloss paint job. If it's a money thing , keep saving and eventually paint it right . I'll bet you a case of beer that you eventually strip it down and spend the money on nice paint. It's a Charger , not a F100.

    It only takes a minute to remove the hood, and you have a lot more room to work with. I always remove mine for work like that.

  • @mariomanti-gualtiero1228

    @mariomanti-gualtiero1228

    5 жыл бұрын

    True, it does only take a minute to remove. But putting them back on and getting it straight can be a pain sometimes. That 68 I had had a hood that had never been removed and I loved that perfect, factory alignment. I had a 71 Charger and I could never get that hood perfect after I removed it. It’s really not hard working with the hood on, I was quite surprised. We changed engines and transmissions a few times on that 68. An old mechanic turned me on to the idea of leaving the hood on when I was about to take it off the first time. I’m so glad he stopped me.... I just assumed it had to automatically come off.

    is there at least a small air gap between the shroud and the rad. fins? You'll want at least some air coming through that extra surface area on the radiator and not just in front of the fans. Also, instead of anti-seize I'd say just dielectric on the threads and on the terminal. Nitpicking over, nice build overall. Much more progress than I've made on my Demon that's for sure

    it might not work as good because the space is for the fans to suck air from radiator from all angles, you should mount the fans in the front and just flip the wires and they will push instead of pulling air the correct way. u should also get a adjustable temp switch for your fans to kick on will help alot
