Yeah it’s quite concerning the discord community is up in arms unfortunately about everything from voice acting to general gameplay. Also the fact they changed engines for the game mid development 😅 scary stuff

tbh if they've gone the unreal TAA route, that'd explain why game looks so motion blurry, and it'd make me instantly lose interest. not here to slowly feel sick.

@@Wilsonite00 Yeah, TAA is getting a lot of hate privately, and now even public is starting to notice how all games today are blurry. I thin TAA is a trap that will end up being phased out in the next 3 or 5 years, but I feel sorry for the devs working on games with it, I and a lot of people just don't want to buy the games anymore, we tried getting used to it. Hell it's especially bad at 1080p and it's also bad on VA monitors which already have motion blur inbuilt. Wild we live in a time where people with bad pc's and more happy than those with good pc's. Reminds me of the old bloom days where devs tried to push high bloom in games. urgh.

@@nameisbad hahaha the good old bloom days it’s weird seeing things evolve for the better and the worse like games when I was like 5 years old where just implementing 3D lol when you looked at it then it looked like watching a tv show but now you look at it and just gotta get a chuckle 🤭

Kinda wild that the demo has this much backwards motion vs the content we saw last year….. was so excited for this game, but now homeworld and broken arrow looking way way more worth.

@@sheldontheory9975 bad take, Helldivers2 newish game pretty good, baulders gate a bit older really good, payday2 old game very amazing, little kitty big city very cute and fun!, Elden ring has a new dlc coming out so Hype!, that new dune spice wars pretty cool, starship troopers has a single player RTS that’s pretty enjoyable, men of war 2 realy solid so far… I could keep going, but there are also tons of older games to try out, maybe you should look for the game for you rather than complain :) My initial post was about the fact that everything up to this point was showing off a more developed game that seemed interesting, where when this came out a lot of content and gameplay features were missing from previous livestreams and showcases. Ratten Riech could still be a very good RTS on launch or it might not, but we won’t know till it launches. So in the mean time why don’t you go try some other games instead! Though if you enjoy game development find another game that gives you updates quite a few of those that do a good job! No RTS beats Dawn of war Soulstorm with unification mod for me. So I’m not looking for the best game just games to play and enjoy :)

From gold become rubbish, the hell what on earth the dev change their engine in mid development. And change everything from gold to rubbish like this.

why did they have to change the old ui to whatever modern simplified thing they got going now it has no soul, no atmosphere

Iron Harvest vibes

It reminds me of Iron Harvest: super nice concept but the game is shallow and no players will be around.

AI doesnt seem very efficient even when you have double the troops over enemy troops in close quarters

There was little change to the equipment used in ww1 to ww2 the same rifle same ammo same explosive and even almost same uniform to the helmet on both sides didn't change at lest the germans are remember to were.

I really hope they work on the time to kill...infantry standing next to each other plinking each other with bullets looks really bad. You land a grenade on a group of enemies and they are only slightly wounded with no reaction. The running and shooting 90 degrees to the side looks really silly as well. Needs a lot of work.

I still remember the first video Raptor made. Even though it was awfully buggy, i was hooked just by the map design, it felt so immersive with a good sense of scale and verticality,. Now it looks so flat and generic. And the new graphic engine doesn't help at all. What a bummer.

"IMPRESSIVE" 💀

was with hype for this game when i saw that they had a demo, i had followed them for a while and the ideia of it being a men of war would be cool, i was like "finnaly they have something", then after playing the demo lost all interest, the game is so bad, not even close to men of war, camera is super bad, controls feels so cluncky, unplayable.
